Book excerpt: Using the Bible as my structural outline, I have, with much imagination, charted the story of the spirit world, as angels, demons, God, and Satan struggle to claim ownership of the human race. The climax of this age-old battle is the appearance of God's champion, Jesus, and the solution He alone offers to each one of us. The story begins in eternity past and concludes in eternity yet to come. I hope you can identify yourself somewhere in the stream of traffic, and, in the knowledge of the accomplishment God's Champion made real, you can with thanksgiving write a personal postscript, "And we lived happily ever after."

Book excerpt: Job, Gods champion, offers experiential insight into the nature and workings of God. Job is not the main character of the book of Job; rather, it is God. The opening scene is in heaven, and Gods relationship with humanity is challenged. Jobs life becomes the arena of contention in this attack on God. As a result, Job loses family, wealth, and health. Job and his friends argue over Gods actions and mens experiences in the world. God clarifies that Job spoke what was right about Him. Here are a few important lessons from Jobs life: God wants a relationship with you. We need a mediator for our spiritual condition. God operates for His own glory. Suffering may be a part of Gods plan. Dont let the suffering temper your enthusiasm for the understanding offered by Gods champion. Jobs life illustrates a substantive spiritual relationship with the God of heaven. The more we know Him, the more we will value the relationship. Our relationship with Him facilitates our being made in His image. Learn to be a champion!

Disappointed, because I knew I had the answers to life's question. But lo and behold, once again I was wrong as two left shoes. Something was missing, and I just couldn't figure it out. I frowned on the thought of asking anyone for advice. Just the thought of being talked about and laughed at behind my back weren't thoughts I needed on my mind at this time. On the outside, everything concerning me looked just fine, but on the inside, I was broken and I needed some fixing. I needed some help. Just when I was on the edge of throwing in the towel and calling it quits of trying to find myself, my purpose in life. I got the call to join the team. I answered the call, and the soft but faint voice told me that my prayers have been heard and answered. You will have an assignment, a purpose to fulfill. But first, you must complete your training. So my question was, what training do I have to do? You will have to give God something to work with because God loves a champion.

Download or read book The Secrets of God s Champions written by Olukayode Abeyomi and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2013-12-01 with total page 50 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God's champions belong to a kingdom that is not from here. Just like every kingdom has its own culture and language likewise God's kingdom has its culture and language. Each door has a particular key, that no other key will be capable of opening. When God's people learn to use the right keys, they begin to operate as champions of God. There is no battle they can't win. God is depending on them and is in search of champions that are yet to discover that they carry the seed of “stars.” I have seen God reveal champions in all the places around the world that I have been privileged to minister to. The power of the Holy Spirit falls upon these people during the ministration and the seed of a champion begins to germinate in them. The Holy Spirit then takes them through varied kingdom experiences until the champion within them is born. When Prophet Elijah was running away because Jezebel placed a prize on his head and the prophet thought he was the only servant of God left that never bowed to Baal, God said to Elijah there were seven thousand more that never bowed to Baal. Every believer has the potential to be a champion of God. It all depends on choice. There is a champion in you. May your choices not cost you to live in the shadow of your true self. Operating in the right atmosphere is a key to emergent of champions. Many champions are buried without emerging or reaching their full potential. You will emerge a champion in your generation in Jesus name. Champions are Christ's ambassadors that represent His kingdom here on earth. Jeremiah 49:14 “I have heard a rumour from the Lord, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying, Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle.”Ambassadors are spokesmen of the Lord. They are to make clear and distinct sound to prevent confusion, and except the trumpet makes a distinct sound, Secrets of God's Champions who shall be ready for battle (1 Corinthians 14:8)? Ephesians 6:20 “For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.” Paul revealed that he himself is an ambassador of God's kingdom. An ambassador is a representative of a kingdom. When an ambassador speaks it is as if the head of the kingdom has spoken. An ambassador is expected to know and speak their kingdom's language. It is forbidden to have an ambassador that cannot speak their kingdom's language. Paul revealed his boldness to speak about his assignment as an ambassador they are representing. Receive the boldness that will provoke your into your destiny as a champion today and that the fire of the Holy Spirit will consume every and anything holding your destiny captive in Jesus name. Enter into that liberty where with the Holy Ghost has made you free and begin to do as occasion serves you. It is your turn.

Book excerpt: As the Baltimore Ravens made their improbable march to victory in Super Bowl XLVII, they turned to their senior advisor of player development, O.J. Brigance, for inspiration each and every Sunday. Following a stellar twelve-year career as a linebacker, including a Super Bowl win with Baltimore in 2000, O.J.Juice Brigance joined the Ravens front office. But in 2007, O.J. was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis also known as Lou Gehrig's disease and told he had only three to five years to live. As a player, he'd battled hundreds of injuries and setbacks. None of them prepared him to face ALS. With faith and determination in his heart and his wife, Chanda, praying by his side, O.J. fought back against the debilitating disease, even as ALS robbed him of the ability to walk and speak. He kept working, smiling, and touching his players lives all the way through their remarkable Super Bowl run more than five years after his diagnosis. Now, O.J. shares his incredible story, offering lessons in resilience and reflecting on the championship team that inspired him in turn. Along with his own journey, O.J. recounts the struggles and successes of Ravens players, including Ray Lewis, Joe Flacco, and Torrey Smith, as well as the strength of head coach John Harbaugh. Having watched their season from the best seat in the house, O.J. highlights their perseverance, confidence, and leadership, and the best that sports can bring out in people. Full of profound revelations and never-before-told anecdotes, Strength of a Champion is a celebration of the human spirit from a man who left everything on the field. O.J. Brigance never asked to be a hero. That's what makes his story so courageous.

In the midst of the chaos, a serial killer has begun ritually sacrificing victims, their bodies strewn throughout the city. Lilac Antonis wants to stop the impending destruction of her city by summoning her mother, a blood god—even if she has to slit a few throats to do it. But evading her lover Arcadia and her friends means sneaking, lying, and even spilling the blood of people she loves. Alex and Cecil of Ace Investigations have been tasked with hunting down the killer, but as they close in—not knowing they're hunting their close friend Lilac—the detectives realize the gods may not have left willingly. As flooding drags this city of cars and neon screaming into the jaws of sea demons and Arcadia struggles to save the people as captain of the evacuation team, Lilac’s ritual killings at last bear fruit, only to reveal her as a small piece in a larger plan. The gods’ protection costs far more than anyone has ever known, and Alex and Cecil are running out of time to discover the true culprit behind the gods’ disappearance before an ancient divine murder plot destroys them all.
