The major findings relate to the age and direction of glacier movements, the pattern and chronology of glaciomarine overlap, and the origins of landforms and sediments associated with glaciation and deglaciation. The area covered in detail in the report is an irregular one since attention was focused, for reasons of interest and accessibility, on the coastal and riverine lowlands. Field work in the highlands was limited by access, but areas not visited have been covered by airphoto interpretation.
