Download or read book Get the Heck out of Our Way written by Dale W. Cox and published by Archway Publishing. This book was released on 2018-01-19 with total page 260 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Government regulations are increasingly holding back economic development, inflating the prices of most consumer goods, and reducing our freedoms. Dale W. Cox, and his wife, LeAnne, know that firsthand as they have operated businesses of various types throughout the years. What theyve found is rules and regulations that constantly change and get more complicated, which hurts their businesses, their family, and their customers. In this book, Cox gives a detailed account of how these regulations make it more expensive to do business, boost inflation, discourage innovation, curb economic growth, and reduce personal and business freedom. The examples of how regulations affect us from a cost and choice standpoint are illustrations that everyone can relate to, including buying a gallon of milk or a car. Coxs goal is to educate as many people as he can so we can move forward as a nation to restore freedom by supporting elected officials and others willing to do something about it. Its time to demand that we keep the fruits of our labor, which starts with telling meddling regulators to Get the Heck Out of Our Way!

Book excerpt: Libraries are filled with volumes detailing the lives of famous outstanding men and women . . . Parks are full of their statues . . . impressive buildings, airports, and streets bear their names . . . However, few manuscripts are intended to describe the life and times of a common or ordinary man living in some random slice of time. This writing is an attempt to give the reader a view of the life and times of a so-called common man who lived in the twentieth century unknown for great deeds, wealth, great intellect, discovery, or, for that matter any great thing of merit. This is the autobiographical story of such a man.

Book The BlackRock Project

Download or read book The BlackRock Project written by Dr. Joseph J. Pamelia and published by Joseph Pamelia. This book was released on 2023-04-14 with total page 142 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the 1940s, the entire world was in turmoil. Economies were failing, people were starving and governments felt the only way out of this dilemma was to initiate war. This is a work of fiction. It takes place sometime in the 1940s, which found the United States embroiled in two separate wars. One war was with Germany in Europe and the surrounding countries and oceans. Germany had essentially taken control of all of Europe. The second war was with Japan. This after Japan had bombed Pearl Harbor, Hawaii in the year of 1941. Germany and Japan had declared war on the United States, and the United States then declared war on both nations, with a mere few days. This story is about the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), who at this time was named the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) was established by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, with the urging from one of his Colleagues from University. As result, the Colleague was named the head of an Administration, which was to later become the OSS, and with the help of the British Intelligence Agency, was able to build the organization with Agents and equipment. These Agents are sent covertly all over the world, to complete their missions on a timely basis. A special Project is created for them, which places them in precarious and lethally-dangerous positions and politics. They find themselves always calculating the odds and morality of humankind to the mission, and manage to find love and romance in the process.
