Book Gangsters Guns Me Now I m in Eastenders but once I was on the run This is my true story

Download or read book Gangsters Guns Me Now I m in Eastenders but once I was on the run This is my true story written by Jamie Foreman and published by Kings Road Publishing. This book was released on 2012-03-05 with total page 189 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jamie Foreman is one of Britain's most iconic actors. He is also the son of Britain's most notorious gangster, Freddie Foreman. Jamie's life has been anything but ordinary. Right from the start, his world was one of contrast and contradiction: he grew up surrounded by London's criminal elite, living by their code of honour and respect, yet he himself was brought up to be a 'straight goer'. The backdrop of his home life was to differ greatly from his time at school as, at seven years old, Jamie found himself in the unlikely surroundings of a boarding school. The happiness of his family and school life was snatched from Jamie when his father was sentenced to ten years in prison for his involvement in the killing of Jack 'The Hat' McVitie. The subsequent years saw Jamie without the father he adored and the whole family was put under enormous strain. At 14, Jamie decided that his passion was for acting and, having been encouraged by Barbara Windsor, he discovered yet another new environment at the Italia Conti Stage School. Jamie thrived in the acting world and was soon enjoying success on both stage and screen. By the time of his dad's release from prison, Jamie had carved a 'straight' career for himself - but after years apart, there was plenty of lost time to make up for. Soon, he was dividing his time between acting and assisting with Freddie's 'business.' Before long, though, life took a surprising turn when a drug deal his father was heavily involved in went tragically wrong and he was forced to go on the run to America with his dad, which marked the start of a whole new adventure ... A truly fascinating story of a unique life. From being babysat by the Kray Twins to his life-changing meeting with Lawrence Olivier. Jamie's is a compelling tale of a boy becoming a man, of a father lost and found (and nearly lost again), and of the adventure, violence and tenderness that forged an unbreakable father-son relationship.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 'Bizarre, dramatic, often funny and never less than compelling' Irish Independent Peter Daly was nineteen when he left Donegal, bound for America. Nine years later, in 1961, following a stint with the US Army, he joined the New York Police Department. His beat was the Lower East Side of Manhattan during one of the worst crime-waves in the city and, determined to make his mark, Daly was quickly earmarked for promotion to the Special Investigating Unit - the Princes of the City. The SIU played by its own rules and answered to nobody and, in 1970, at the pinnacle of his career, Daly made one of the department's biggest drug bust: 105 kilos of pure heroin and cocaine. But only 100 kilos was surrendered ... From his remarkable rise within the NYPD to his time served in Lewisburg Federal Penitentiary on 'Mafia' Row with some of the most notorious gangsters in American history, including the Lufthansa robber Jimmy 'the Gent' Burke, Benny Ong, 'Godfather of Chinatown', and New York wiseguy Charlie Brody, Peter Daly's story is the stuff of Hollywood scriptwriters. The only thing is: it is true. 'Of course, I was dishonest, but you have to make your own judgement. I was brought up to know right from wrong. My regrets are innumerable. It is all part of life. But I would die rather than inform on my police friends. The oath of office I took included loyalty. I gave up my family, my life and all that it meant to me ...' Peter Daly

Book excerpt: Drug dealers & dealings/witnessing murders even children, horrific deaths/incest & unspeakable beatings & rapes never reported/5 stolen children by different people never finding them/Extreme criminals & charges/horendous abusive marriages & relationships with guns, knives etc...surviving many years of living on highways, alleys, abandoned buildings, streets & wooded areas. Real drugs bring people, even in high places which will shock you out of the woodwork. "Deliverance" the movie-thats pretty much truth but has nothng on this story. I'll tell you what life was like riding with many biker gangs. This will be the most shocking and sad story you have EVER read. Many have claimed that in their stories and it's true it gets worse & deeper as more stories like this comes out. I have kept a diary of sorts of all since the age of 9. This is all true, really happened. At the age of 58 I'm finally telling my story of how I survived. Not without emotional, phsycological & physical damage. Had to change some names, businesses & important people of course to protect me but you will recognize them & know. It has become time now to tell all, thinking sometimes I should take some things out for my safety but it has always been proven in my mind that it is best to not take out the truth that could either destroy me worse or destroy other people but the truth should stay "The Truth." Without the truth my life story would mean nothing and they should not be protected from the truth. Every human should know what sick, twisted, perverted, dangerous people are out there lurking anywhere, even in your job, home, in your bed, on the streets & in alleys. Don't trust even who you are sleeping with, not even your children. Never-make deals wth the law or the other side, DEA etc...Do trust God and the public defenders eg: Biaz and Chaney-heroes in my book. Answers to the question do people with hundreds of felonies & hundreds of DUIs get exsponged or a Governor's pardon. Ranging from arson, terroristic threatenings, B & Es, assaults, criminal mischiefs, hundreds of DUIs, assaults with deadly weapons. What life is like for someone growing old to have survived horrific fates handed to me. Entire buildings have fallen on and trapped me, a lifetime of violence, beatings, incest, rapes, drugs & dealers, horrid accidents & injuries, children gone never any hope of reuniting, hitch-hiking in knee deep snow across the states for many years trying to locate stolen children and the horrid adventures along the way. At a funeral of my mother's one instance of incest was brought to light, a rape, incest was admitted by a family member which made me watch as they walked off with the child. Find out who the Pentecost preacher who went into the New Mexico court house to blow his head off was to me and where and why his spirit is now. Don't believe in the spirit world? You will now. The damage of it all physically, emotionally & physcologically & financially was not escaped. Drugs, alcohol, violence & greed do not mix well. We all pay a high price when lives has been destroyed and it all never goes away. People always say "Don't live in your past." The past has made my story possible. Had I not kept a diary or journal of it all it would stay pinned in my heart & mind and would destroy me, it had to eventually be told. Doubts about the footprints in the sand? He is what and who has brought me this far to survive it all. Without any therapy nor friends to talk to this story has never been told and is horrific. I applaud and praise you if you make it through the first page without taking an emotional break. This is a life changing story. Don't try to make sense of anything I can't either. Abandoned by life, family & friends. Old, bitter & alone but still not without faith & hope.

Book I Am Not a Gangster

    Book Details:

  • ISBN : 0091957834
  • Pages : 324 pages

Download or read book I Am Not a Gangster written by Bobby Cummines and published by Random House. This book was released on 2014 with total page 324 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "I am not a gangster," I spat. "I'm a businessman trying to make a hard-earned crust. Understood?" I didn't give him time to reply. I took the barrel out of his mouth and smashed him in the face with the butt. His lip split, but he wasn't a dead man. He seemed to appreciate that his life had been spared. He spluttered his thanks: "Ok, you’re not a gangster. You are not a gangster." This is the gripping true story of how one man ruled his north London manor with an iron fist—and a sawn-off shotgun called Kennedy. It’s a shocking insight into a society where the rules are made by gangland leaders, and if anybody dare break them, they have to deal with the consequences. Bobby was sent to prison for the first time in 1967, aged 16, and over the next decade he established himself as a hardened criminal running protection rackets and robberies against a backdrop of all-out gang warfare, where doorstep slayings and bloody shoot-outs were common. Eventually Bobby was sentenced to 12 years in Britain’s most notorious prisons, along with the Krays, Charlie Richardson, and the Yorkshire Ripper. Inside, he was introduced to the Open University, and on his release he soon got down to business again. Only this time his efforts saw him go from custody of Her Majesty’s Prison Service to meeting with the Queen herself. . . This is an explosive account of life in the criminal underworld by one of Britain’s most dangerous men, but above all it’s a remarkable tale of redemption with the biggest turnaround in gangland history.

Book excerpt: You expect your parents to take care of you when you're a child. But if that doesn't work out you have to step up and take things into your own hands. I had a criminal record a mile long by the time I was 16. The story you're about to read is real of course, some of the names had to be changed, not so much to protect the innocent as to protect my butt.I believe I was about 10 when I learned things weren't safe at home. It was the normal crap, parents arguing all the time. Originally my mother left when I was five, but for some ungodly reason my father took her back, and that's when the fireworks really started. My mother, who was born and raised in a small town in Maine, called Bath, is about as insane as one can get, that's why I'm bringing her up. Ok, I think I'm going to get ahead of myself. But let's just say that she's playing an intricate part in this crazy circus that I call my life.It was June 1, 1978, when I heard my parents argue again. It was the same garbage every day and by now I was sick of it. Yet things were about to change, everything was about to change. When I woke up that morning, everything I had was gone. At some point in the middle of the night, my mother left taking my younger sister with her.Of course, by that time, my father told me they were halfway to Maine. Looking back, I'm not really sure how I got involved in organized crime. I think if I had to make an educated guess, it was out of desperation. Because within just 2 short years, I found myself standing in front of a movie theater in Newport Rhode Island. And when I realized, I was on my own. My mother had brought me to an afternoon matinee, and handed me a five-dollar bill, told me to use the rest to get something to eat and she would be back at five when the movie ended. Well, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what happened next. The fucking bitch, never came back.

Book excerpt: Take an exciting ride as Stan Long tells the true story of a wild and outrageous life of sex, drugs, women, and high-end crime. Black Bird Medley begins with his fairly innocent childhood but digresses to a life of drug dealing on the mean streets of Washington, DC, where he grew up quickly. At the age of nine, he learned how to use a gun; by twelve he began having sexual encounters with women twice his age. This is a true tale of personal growth that is sure to motivate and inspire. Black Bird Medley is a powerful memoir and cautionary tale written by Stan Long in order to reach out to people that may find themselves in similar situations. He has purposely exposed his life to help show all of the possibilities of change. Our youth today are lost and misguided, so he feels that by allowing his life to be a literal open book, perhaps his life endeavors will assist in the positive transformation of others. The intent of writing 'Black Bird Medley' was not to glorify nor condone his former lifestyle: however, writing 'Black Bird Medley' has been therapeutic to this author's transformation. He hopes his experiences can help to inspire all who are dealing with personal struggles and can inevitably find a way towards greatness.
