Una formación que potencie la reflexión y la actuación de los profesionales, incluso cuando se requiere resistir a los poderes explícitos e implícitos del sistema, para lograr transformaciones en pro del desarrollo humano, particularmente, en la consolidación de condiciones para el buen vivir y la salud. La investigación que aquí se presenta es producto de un trabajo de grado del programa de Maestría en Desarrollo Humano de la Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales —FLACSO—, sede Argentina. Usando métodos cualitativos de tipo interpretativo y de corte transversal, con un diseño de estudio de caso, tal proyecto analizó la experiencia de práctica profesional del programa académico de Fonoaudiología de la Universidad del Valle entre agosto de 2014 y julio de 2016, en las comunas 18 y 20 de la ciudad de Santiago de Cali (Colombia).
