"Why does anything exist at all?" is much akin to the 'great' philosophical question of "Why is there something instead of nothing?" Both questions are stated backwards, as if 'something' had to be decided, versus there being Nothing a lack of anything. Some presume that something came from an absolute Nothing or that things are forever made of even smaller things. These are not the case, for causes cannot forever precede causes-an infinite regress, nor can a total Nothing ever produce anything, for 'it' has no existence, meaning that it is not even 'there', yet, Nothing still plays a role, as there is literally nothing to make anything of. To confirm, we look for a balance of opposites summing to zero, and, indeed, we find it. It is as if Nothing is perfectly unstable, which is why it cannot be, and is not found anywhere at all. The Cause of Existence - To comprehend the Cosmos, one must, hence, Find the why and how of its existence, For, incomplete answers will never dress, Invariably wrong, by incompleteness. Forever Stuff could not have been always, For then there is no reason for its plays, Its total amount, and its certain stance; It had to be created, in balance. No thing can be eternal, never made, As there's no reason for the forms' cascade; Yet, there is no-thing source to make it from; So, the default 'lawless' is where it's done. The no-place of no laws is the first cause, Requiring nothing but the same 'because'. Forever and always anything goes, This being the final answer to the TOEs. Everything Solved: The Universe Explained - The Stuff Forever (or of From Nothing) that could no longer contain itself as a 'singularity', changing its form and 'banging' into a universe, obviously met a constraint that was being built up to in its wave form-since matter and spacetime came after the 'bang', as a low probability, but guaranteed (eventually), event, so we can go on to say about the only possible wave state of the Forever Something as the how and why of the 'bang', as well as the 'what' of the waves. Yes, it is a tall order, but we know that it could only do what it did, since all action is only from itself, there being no external directives possible for what is itself causeless. Ananthropocentric Purposivism claims that there is a cosmic purpose, but human beings are irrelevant to it. Purpose in the Universe develops a philosophical case for Ananthropocentric Purposivism that it is at least as strong as the case for either theism or atheism. The book borrows traditional theist arguments to defend a cosmic purpose. These include cosmological, teleological, ontological, meta-ethical, and mystical arguments. It then borrows traditional atheist arguments to reject a human-centred purpose. These include arguments based on evil, diversity, and the scale of the universe. Mulgan also highlights connections between morality and metaphysics, arguing that evaluative premises play a crucial and underappreciated role in metaphysical debates about the existence of God, and Ananthropocentric Purposivism mutually supports an austere consequentialist morality based on objective values. He concludes that, by drawing on a range of secular and religious ethical traditions, a non-human-centred cosmic purpose can ground a distinctive human morality. Our moral practices, our view of the moral universe, and our moral theory are all transformed if we shift from the familiar choice between a universe without meaning and a universe where humans matter to the less self-aggrandising thought that, while it is about something, the universe is not about us.
