Download or read book Eternal Questions and Kabbalah Magic written by Albert Son and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2020-07-03 with total page 118 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For a long period of time, the fundamental science of the structure of the entire universe, the special place and purpose of man in it, the properties and design of the human soul, was created and passed on from generation to generation. This science is called Kabbalah. Ancient philosophers, medieval theologians and modern physics scientists tried to penetrate its secrets. Today, when the period of the material development of mankind is ending, Kabbalah is becoming accessible to everyone who wants to receive answers to the "latest questions." So accessible that it provides an opportunity to invite everyone to get acquainted with its main provisions and understand in which direction the further development of mankind will go.The book begins with eternal questions: who am I, where did I come from to this world, why do I exist? Have I already been in this world, will I appear in it again? Can I understand the meaning and causes of everything that happens? Why is the world full of suffering, what is their reason, is it possible to avoid it? Kabbalah provides answers to these and other crucial questions.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this provocative book, Marla Segol explores the development of the kabbalistic cosmology underlying Western sex magic. Drawing extensively on Jewish myth and ritual, Segol tells the powerful story of the relationship between the divine and the human body in late antique Jewish esotericism, in medieval kabbalah, and in New Age ritual practice. Kabbalah and Sex Magic traces the evolution of a Hebrew microcosm that models the powerful interaction of human and divine bodies at the heart of both kabbalah and some forms of Western sex magic. Focusing on Jewish esoteric and medical sources from the fifth to the twelfth century from Byzantium, Persia, Iberia, and southern France, Segol argues that in its fully developed medieval form, kabbalah operated by ritualizing a mythos of divine creation by means of sexual reproduction. She situates in cultural and historical context the emergence of Jewish cosmological models for conceptualizing both human and divine bodies and the interactions between them, arguing that all these sources position the body and its senses as the locus of culture and the means of reproducing it. Segol explores the rituals acting on these models, attending especially to their inherent erotic power, and ties these to contemporary Western sex magic, showing that such rituals have a continuing life. Asking questions about its cosmology, myths, and rituals, Segol poses even larger questions about the history of kabbalah, the changing conceptions of the human relation to the divine, and even the nature of religious innovation itself. This groundbreaking book will appeal to students and scholars of Jewish studies, religion, sexuality, and magic.

Download or read book Qabalah written by John Bonner and published by Weiser Books. This book was released on 2002-03-15 with total page 228 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: While it began as a mystical interpretation of Jewish scriptural texts, today Qabalah is much more. As John Bonner writes in his introduction, "Qabalah is a metaphysical philosophy, or rather a theosophy, that sets out to answer a series of vital questions regarding the nature of God, His creation, and the place of man in His divine plan." It is a living, growing system of personal development. In addition, much of contemporary Western magick is founded on the work of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, which based its ritual and teachings firmly in Qabalah. This scholarly introduction explores the mysteries of Qabalah through the symbolism of the Tree of Life and its four distinct elements: the three Pillars of Manifestation, the ten Holy Sephiroth, the Paths that run to and from the Sephiroth, and the Veils. For each Sephirah, Bonner provides detailed information on magical, astrological, and tarot correspondences - as well as how different religious traditions relate to the concepts contained in each.

Book excerpt: Kabbalah - it is very difficult and to some extent even paradoxical doctrine is very different from the concept of thinking of those ideas, which are peculiar to thinking of the majority of Europeans. On the other hand, the inherent Kabbalah mystery, incompleteness, and symbolic imagery pronounced mysticism plaque were perhaps the most intriguing its qualities that attracted thereto plurality thinkers prone to the occult. However, the important thing: they all saw in Kabbalah refraction characteristic of western occult ideas and propositions - that all the great diversity of the phenomena of the universe, young and old is a certain unity; that all things and phenomena are parts ordered whole; that the universe itself and all the hidden relationships between phenomena which, at first glance, seem to be chaotic and did not related to each other, in fact, control the mysterious laws; that letters and numbers are full of meaning important key to understanding the laws of the universe; that inspiration and imagination is much faster and more reliable can lead to the attainment of the ultimate truth than the proverbial common sense; that man - is both God and the Universe in miniature; and finally, the most important thing - that there is a spiritual path, going that people can free themselves from the purely human limitations, and therefore - to become a superman and understand God. Kabbalah, of course, not the only doctrine, setting out these and similar ideas; they can be found in the system of the Tarot, Despite the fact that the Kabbalists of the past centuries people were purely religious, and perform religious commandments and ceremonies, this, however, did not prevent the fact that Kabbalah eventually gained many of the features and properties of magic. Abraham Abulafia, one of the greatest Kabbalists and mystics of the XIII century, was convinced that the Kabbalah - a very effective means to achieve the magical purposes, and therefore warned fellow of errors slipping into magic. However, the Kabbalistic doctrine of climbing opportunities from lowest to highest, and the reunification of the earthly and the heavenly is a very valuable tool for the mystic, the aspirant for bliss in communion with God, and for the magician who wants to subjugate all the spiritual and physical strength, and sees itself as the Person of God capable to understand the supreme art of magic. In this sense, of great interest is a special aspect of the teachings - the so-called practical Kabbalah is based on the belief that with the help of special rituals, prayers and internal volitional acts a person can actively intervene in the history of the process (eg, zoom Messiah), for each "stimulation from below" (from the man) always corresponds to the "arousal from above " (from God).

Book The Kabbalah of Time

  • Author : Bonder Nilton Bonder
  • Publisher : Trafford Publishing
  • Release : 2009-11
  • ISBN : 1426922329
  • Pages : 348 pages

Download or read book The Kabbalah of Time written by Bonder Nilton Bonder and published by Trafford Publishing. This book was released on 2009-11 with total page 348 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Kabbalah of Time is an interactive investigation of two fundamental mysteries: the Absolute (God) and the Infinite (time-space). Everything that has form was shaped by the transitory nature of time. God, devoid of form, as presented in the Biblical text, is a God that does not belong to time. Using mystical teachings within Judaism to learn from the perspective of beyond time, Rabbi Nilton Bonder presents some intriguing questions and mysterious answers that can contribute to a better intimacy with reality. Viewing Creation as the Creation of time itself he proposes a countdown for the establishment of sequential time as we know it. Day 1: The Everlasting produces the Now. Day 2: The Now produces existence. Day 3: Existence produces death. Day 4: Death produces feelings. Day 5: Feelings produce intelligence. Day 6: Intelligence produces the past. Day 7: The past produces the future. Why would a Creator by nature be hidden and invisible? Can something exist without being inside time? Where did we come from and where do we go when we leave time? What if time could be understood as a place, a place that has no direction?

Book Mystery of Black Fire White Fire

Download or read book Mystery of Black Fire White Fire written by Bruce Friedman and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2016-05-17 with total page 387 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Faith forms the foundation of both science and religion. In Mystery of Black Fire, White Fire, author Bruce Friedman uses this thought as a springboard for a discussion of the commonalities existing between these two realms, particularly with regard to cosmology and the origins of the universe. Mystery of Black Fire, White Fire provides a contemplation of the Creation and begins by offering an understanding of the basic principles of both Judaism and science. The mysticism of kabbalah with its inclusion of creation from nothing among its other features is found to grapple with issues that science could only start to properly address in the twentieth century. Combining the tools and knowledge of science with those of Judaism, Friedman shows that new avenues of thought and revelation can be found. But he also communicates that with all of the resources of science and religion available to humanity, the resolution of the basic mystery of creation, with which kabbalah concerns itself, remains elusive. Praise for Mystery of Black Fire, White Fire What has Athens to do with Jerusalem? a writer of antiquity famously asked. Or as we might put it today, what has modern science to do with the Torah? This fascinating and erudite book, combining great scientific and theological sophistication, gives us the answer. Stephen M. Barr, physics professor at the University of Delaware and author of Modern Physics and Ancient Faith
