Ainsi, le chirurgien dentiste se doit aujourd'hui d'être attentif au contrôle de la douleur aussi bien per opératoire que post opératoire. Le but de cette étude est de tenter d'évaluer l'intensité douloureuse sur une période de sept jours consécutive au premier temps implantaire. Ce travail a été mené sur les patients traités dans le service d'odontologie Hôtel-Dieu Garancière. La douleur a été quantifiée par une échelle analogique notée au jour le jour par le patient pendant sept jours et par la quantité d'antalgiques absorbée pendant cette période. Nos résultats indiquent que s'il y a douleur, celle-ci est ressentie essentiellement durant les deux ou trois premiers jours post opératoires. Une comparaison, avec un autre type d'intervention de chirurgie buccale (extraction de la troisième molaire mandibulaire) publié dans la littérature suivant un protocole similaire, nous permet de conclure que l'insertion chirurgicale d'implants induit des douleurs post opératoires limitées et très tolérables.

It has been proven untrue by the testimony of many military officers and airmen and documentation of incidents involving UFOs and nuclear weapons, testimonies of which the U.S. Air Force was fully aware. Unidentified details many of these testimonies, some for the first time. As partial justification for its position, the Air Force cites a University of Colorado study that was contracted and paid for by federal funds. Unidentified reveals how this study was actually just another part of the plan to cover up the reality of the UFO phenomenon. For the first time, Unidentified publishes evidence that the investigators for the Colorado study knew about the UFO-related missile shutdown incidents but did not investigate them or include them in their final report.
