Así, cada tipo de emergencia desarrollada en el capítulo final presenta la siguiente estructura: el protocolo de actuación, que explica de forma genérica en qué consiste ese tipo concreto de emergencia; y el procedimiento operativo, que proporciona una orientación de cómo disponer los medios humanos y materiales para hacer frente a esa emergencia. Además, cada una de las fichas de prácticas que se ofrecen proporciona una pauta formativa para ejercitar el procedimiento operativo descrito.
