En particular, cabe destacar que se trata de una empresa dedicada a la producción de materiales de construcción que ha sufrido numerosos cambios a lo largo de sus más de cien años de historia, los cuales son analizados en detalle a lo largo del trabajo.

Además, se aporta información acerca de las estrategias anteriormente comentadas, todas ellas desarrolladas por el Grupo, así como las previsiones futuras que prevén sus directivos para los próximos cinco años. Se puede ver que, gracias a la visión que tuvo el fundador del Grupo y la diversificación de servicios que ha experimentado la organización durante estas cinco décadas, el crecimiento de esta compañía ha sido espectacular. Este desarrollo no sólo ha tenido lugar en el mercado nacional sino también internacionalmente a pesar de la crisis económica mundial, lo que le ha permitido ampliar su cartera de negocios a actividades y mercados muy diversos. To do so, we construct a new comprehensive chronology of financial liberalization in 28 mature and emerging market economies since 1973. We also construct an algorithm to identify booms and busts in stock market prices. Our results indicate that financial liberalization is followed by more pronounced boom-bust cycles in the short run. However, financial liberalization leads to more stable markets in the long run. Finally, we analyze the sequencing of liberalization and institutional reforms to understand the contrasting short- and long-run effects of liberalization.

This book is a practical manual and an outline of what is taught in the courses. It is intended to help the young spinal surgeon to understand the correct use of AO implants. The indi- tions given will aid the correct use of each procedure. . It must be strongly emphasized that surgery of the spine is technically de manding. The techniques described in this book should only be undertaken by surgeons who are trained and experienced in spinal surgery. Certain techniques, in particular pedicle screw fIxation and cages, have not yet been fully approved by the FDA in the United States. However, throughout the rest of the world, the use of pedicle screws has become a standard technique for the spine surgeon, since it has been shown to improve fIxation techniques and allow segmental correction of the spine. The use of cages has become more and more popular, specifIcally as a tool of minimally invasive spinal surgery.
