Book excerpt: Les théories actuelles préconisent un apprentissage socio-constructiviste, un certain relativisme epistemologique et définissent le cadre dans lequel peut s'inscrire un rôle de médiateur pour l'enseignant de sciences physiques. Mais les pratiques d'enseignement sont encore majoritairement expositives et dogmatiques et s'appuient sur une conception réaliste des savoirs scientifiques. Cette recherche s'est donc donnée pour but de mettre en place une formation d'enseignants visant d'une part, la mise en oeuvre d'interactions de type "guidage dans la construction de savoirs" et d'autre part, l'appropriation de considérations d'ordre epistemologique et didactique. Préalablement a la mise en oeuvre du dispositif de formation, une observation de pratiques d'enseignants permet d'élaborer des descripteurs d'interactions socio-constructivistes. Ces descripteurs sont utilises pour élaborer des grilles d'anticipation et d'analyse de la séance centrées sur les interactions. L'élaboration, l'analyse de séances d'enseignement, l'explicitation des cohérences entre pratiques interactives et options didactiques et epistemologiques constituent les moyens utilises pour que les enseignants donnent du sens conceptions didactiques et epistemologiques et tendent vers une compatibilité entre théorie et pratique. Un essai de la formation envisagée est mené avec deux enseignantes. il s'agit d'une étude de cas. Différents décalages sont successivement introduits dans la formation en fonction de ce que les enseignantes sont capables de produire et de gérer. L'analyse des données recueillies au cours de la formation permet de suivre l'évolution des pratiques interactives des enseignantes et de repérer les difficultés qu'elles ont rencontrées pour changer de pratique. L'analyse de la dernière séance menée par l'une des deux enseignantes montre qu'elle s'est appropriée les considérations didactiques et epistemologiques discutées au cours de la formation pour les réinvestir dans la pratique.
