Download or read book Frequency written by Penney Peirce and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2011-08-16 with total page 384 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Frequency gives readers the tools to understand how and why their natural frequency interacts with the world around them. Because we see the world from a physical perspective, we often don't notice what's right in front of us -- that our spirit, thoughts, emotions, and body are all made of energy. Inside us and everywhere around us, life is vibrating. In fact, each of us has a personal vibration that accurately communicates who we are to the world and helps shape our reality. Frequency shows readers how to feel their personal vibration, improve it, and use it to shift their life from ordinary to extraordinary. A simple shift in frequency can change depression to peace, anger to stillness, and fear to enthusiasm. Weaving together basic ideas from quantum physics with proven intuition development techniques, Frequency takes readers into deeper concepts only hinted at in recent popular books and DVD's featuring the Law of Attraction. By learning to refine the "conscious sensitivity" of their body, readers can improve relationships, find upscale solutions to problems, and materialize a life that contains everything they want and need to live their destiny. Frequency gives readers a reassuring, step-by-step roadmap into a positive state of awareness that Peirce calls The Intuition Age. By learning to use "frequency principles" -- methods based on the way energy actually functions -- readers can keep their energy level high and productive, receive subtle information directly from the environment via "empathic resonance," and quickly free themselves from negative or low "vibrations."

This guide is based on the sixty-four lessons from the I Ching that we can master to expand our awareness, discover our authentic self, realize our inner truth, and live our unique destiny. When we balance our physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental aspects we become more self-empowered, and can achieve greater self-fulfillment. Following the Preface and Introduction, the book includes an Overview of the spectrum of ourselves, archetypes, roles, skill, spheres of awareness, principles, the learning spectrum, numbers, geometry, feminine and masculine expressions, self-realization, needs, relationships, and transformation. The book is then organized into four aspects: Physical, Emotional, Spiritual, and Mental. Each section contains the numbers, geometry, spheres of awareness, principles, traits, abilities, skills, and the learning spectrum. Each aspect has sixteen lessons. The sixty-four lessons in the learning spectrum are the lessons we can master to be an individual that takes empowered action, capable of empowered responses, based on empowered perspectives, and empowered thinking. They are tools that cultivate inner truth, emotional intelligence, and mental freedom that allow us to embrace whatever happens in life. Each lesson has a theme with an introduction, feminine and masculine expressions, and a spectrum: affirmation, wisdom, compassion, contemplation, investigation, sensation, observation, and visualization. Book The Alchemy of Becoming

Download or read book The Alchemy of Becoming written by Diane Fulford and published by FriesenPress. This book was released on 2023-09-26 with total page 282 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a book to be experienced, not simply read. The Alchemy of Becoming series sets out a methodology that empowers you to raise your level of consciousness to levels never imagined possible. The first book and level of this process, Being of Truth, laid a foundation of authenticity and personal truth. In this second installment, Being of Love, the journey continues as you discover that love is not just a feeling or emotion but rather a powerful, life-enhancing and life-creating force. Level 1 reframed fear to trust. In Level 2, love is claimed over and beyond fear. This is transformation. Not just inspiration, but transformation to a state of higher consciousness available to us all. Einstein claimed that no problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it. It is only in higher consciousness that the intractable issues of our times can be addressed. This applies equally to our individual lives be it our health, relationships, and to our sense of worth and well-being. Higher consciousness takes you from life happening to you, to life happening by you and expressed as you. The seven-stage alchemic process is the framework for transformation and while the process is universal, no two people will have the same experience. The experience is personalized to you, meaning that it is aligned to your unique vibrational makeup. This is a powerful, affirming aspect of this methodology as what is revealed to you can only be known by you. It all starts with you. Transforming yourself to be the alchemist of your own life while serving as a gateway for the change our world so desperately needs.

Book Bio A I From Embodied Cognition to Enactive Robotics

Download or read book Bio A I From Embodied Cognition to Enactive Robotics written by Adam Safron and published by Frontiers Media SA. This book was released on 2023-12-08 with total page 392 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Even before the deep learning revolution, the landscape of artificial intelligence (AI) was already changing drastically in the 90s. Embodied intelligence, it was proposed, must play a crucial role in the design of intelligent machines. This new wave was inspired by what is today known as Embodied and Enactive Cognitive Science or E-Cognition, which considers that cognitive activity does not reduce to the intellectual capacities of agents being able to represent their environments. E-cognition set AI and robotics in a new direction, in which intelligent machines are required to interact with the environment, and where this interaction does not reduce to explicit representations or prespecified algorithms. These ideas revolutionized the way we think about intelligent machines and cognition, but these theoretical advances are only partially reflected in modern approaches to AI and machine learning (ML). Despite deeply impressive achievements, AI/ML still struggles to recapitulate the kinds of intelligence we find in natural systems, whether we are considering individual insects (e.g. simultaneous localization and mapping), or swarm behaviour (e.g. forum sensing and ensemble inferences), and especially the kinds of flexibility and high-level reasoning characteristic of human cognition.

Book Embodied Conceptualization or Neural Realization

Download or read book Embodied Conceptualization or Neural Realization written by Qingqing Zhao and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2019-08-31 with total page 151 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book focuses on linguistic synaesthesia in a hitherto less-studied language – Mandarin Chinese – and adopts a corpus-driven approach to support the analysis and argumentation. The study identifies directional tendencies and underlying mechanisms for Mandarin synaesthetic adjectives. By doing so, it not only provides an added layer of understanding for theories of linguistic synaesthesia, but also offers evidence to help refine previous theories, such as Embodiment Theory and Conceptual Metaphor Theory. In brief, the book makes a significant contribution to the development of Cognitive Linguistics. The intended readership includes, but is not limited to, graduate students in linguistics and researchers interested in Chinese linguistics in particular, and in lexical semantics and cognitive linguistics in general.

Book Towards embodied artificial cognition TIME is on my side

Download or read book Towards embodied artificial cognition TIME is on my side written by Michail Maniadakis and published by Frontiers Media SA. This book was released on 2015-06-05 with total page 133 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the moment of birth, humans and animals are immersed in time: all experiences and actions evolve in time and are dynamically structured. The perception of time is thus a capacity indispensable for the control of perception, cognition and action. The last 10 years have witnessed a remarkable resurgence of interest in timing and time perception, with a continuously increasing number of researchers exploring these innate abilities. However, existing robotic systems largely neglect the key role of time in cognition and action. This is a major barrier for accomplishing the long-term goal of symbiotic human-robot interaction. The critical question is: how is time instantiated in a biological system and how can it be implemented in an artificial system? Recent years have for example seen an increasing focus on the relationship between affective states and the experience of time. The influence of affective states on subjective time seems to depend on the embodiment of emotions: intertwined affective and interoceptive states may create our subjective experience of time. Since robotic systems are in essence embodied information-processing systems that interact with the real world, we hope to inspire a reciprocal exchange of ideas between the field of Robotics and the Cognitive Neurosciences. In this research topic, we call researchers from different disciplines (Robotics, Neurosciences, and Psychology) to present their empirical work, their models or reviews on the question of how time judgments are instantiated in biological and artificial systems. Of particular interest are papers on time perception in humans and animals, with a focused interest on embodied time perception, i.e. the influence of affective and body states on time judgments. Moreover, the present Research Topic seeks to gather papers discussing the key role of time on different aspects of robotic cognition as well as modeling approaches. We are interested in paving the way for a new generation of intelligent computational systems that incorporate the sense of time in their processing loop and thus accomplish more efficient and more advanced cognitive capacities.
