Eso demuestra la inserción del psicoanálisis en el siglo XXI, sea en las instituciones o en los consultorios privados, ya que el empuje del malestar en la civilización lleva al sujeto a recurrir a un analista mucho más por una contingencia (en busca de alivio de sus síntomas) que por el interés de recorrer el largo camino propuesto por el psicoanálisis puro. Y, siendo así, el psicoanálisis de orientación lacaniana no podría retroceder ante este desafío y sin avanzar como es característica de la osadía de los discípulos de Lacan. Creemos que el evento de los efectos rápidos que está articulado al psicoanálisis aplicado a la terapéutica fue testimoniado por muchos psicoanalistas desde la época de Freud, lo que respalda su uso en la contemporaneidad, como fue testimoniado por nosotros en la atención del caso clínico, que trataremos en el cuarto capítulo de este libro. En ese sentido, no vemos a priori mucha diferencia en el uso del psicoanálisis aplicado a la terapéutica en instituciones o consultorio privado en cuanto a la producción de efectos terapéuticos rápidos en la dirección de la cura. O sea, el Psicoanálisis Aplicado es aun así Psicoanálisis. Ese es nuestro presupuesto de trabajo. Los casos clínicos pretenden aún comprobar que el psicoanálisis aplicado a la terapéutica está más direccionado a los efectos rápidos, diferente del psicoanálisis puro que, a pesar de tener los mismos principios, tiene su interés hacia el final del análisis.
