En particular, el texto coteja la poesía del mayor censurador de la obra del chileno, el poeta Pierre Reverdy, con la producción de Huidobro. El resultado es fehaciente e irrebatible: Huidobro fue original en su estilo y el gran ascendiente de la producción vanguardista de habla hispana.
