The study utilized a reproducible survey which investigated parental perspectives of looping in the lower grades. Fifty surveys were distributed to parents of validity and reliability of the instrument used to collect the data was established by the author of the instrument. Of the fifty surveys, forty one were completed and returned. The study was conducted in a rural southwest Georgia public elementary school. It was expected that the results would indicate that the instructional strategy of looping creates an environment that allows teachers to be better prepared to help students in their academic achievement thus the parents’ are supportive of this instructional strategy.
