Book Return of the Divine Sophia

Download or read book Return of the Divine Sophia written by Tricia McCannon and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2015-03-06 with total page 479 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An initiatic journey into the Mysteries of the Goddess and humanity’s return to an age of peace and celestial light • Details the ceremonies and rituals of initiation into the Fellowship of Isis • Reveals the lost teachings of Jesus about the Divine Mother and Father and how the goddess Sophia is connected to Mary Magdalene as the Female Christ • Explores the many archetypes of the Goddess, including Isis, Brigit, and the Black Madonna, and how we can transform into Homo luminous, spiritual beings of light Called through her dreams by the Priestesses of Isis, Tricia McCannon set out on a spiritual journey into the Mysteries of the Goddess. After a fateful encounter with a high initiate of the ancient Fellowship of Isis, she began researching the history of Judaism and Christianity to find out how and when the Divine Feminine became lost. She discovered a forgotten age when the Creator was honored as female and humanity lived in peaceful societies completely free of war. She shows how we can return to an age of peace and celestial light if we work to bring the masculine and feminine energies of the world back into balance. Sharing her journey into the heart of the Divine Mother, McCannon details her initiation into the Fellowship of Isis, a process rich with ceremony, ritual, and myths of the Goddess from ancient Egyptian, Celtic, Greek, Hebrew, and Native American traditions. She reveals how the many archetypes of the Goddess, including Isis, Ishtar, Brigit, and the Black Madonna, can become our allies for self-transformation. She explores Mysteries at the heart of Christianity that have remained hidden for nearly 2,000 years and how the Gnostic goddess Sophia is tied to the Second Coming, Mary Magdalene, and the Female Christ. She reveals the lost teachings of Jesus about the Divine Mother and Father and about the Divine Daughter and Son. Through her story and her in-depth research, McCannon takes us on a journey to awaken the creative power of the Divine Feminine within each of us. Equipped with the teachings of the Goddess, we gain the mastery to overcome the deeply rooted masculine-feminine imbalance of the patriarchy and to embark into the future as Homo luminous, beings of light.

  • Author : Beryl Moore
  • Publisher : Austin Macauley Publishers
  • Release : 2023-06-23
  • ISBN : 1398474061
  • Pages : 93 pages

Download or read book The Divine Exchange written by Beryl Moore and published by Austin Macauley Publishers. This book was released on 2023-06-23 with total page 93 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We are all convinced that we are right in our beliefs, whatever they may be. I am convinced that God is good, merciful, gracious and loving. That He hates religion in every form and cannot abide legalism. I am also convinced that many Christians are living lives of quiet desperation because they believe that their salvation depends on their performance. Saved by grace, they now have to do the rest themselves. This results in, at the very least, striving, and at the worst, nervous breakdown and disillusionment. I am convinced that because of His great love for His Bride and the price He paid to redeem her, God is making war on everything that isn’t of Him; everything that doesn’t proclaim that He is a giver first and foremost; that everything He asks of us, He first gives us... If you think otherwise, open the book, and see if you still have the same belief system when you have studied it.

Book Return of the Divine Feminine Rise of the Divine Masculine

Download or read book Return of the Divine Feminine Rise of the Divine Masculine written by Duann Kier and published by . This book was released on 2020-02-11 with total page 310 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Return of the Divine Feminine, Rise of the Divine Masculine" explores the spiritual concept of duality and its influence in our everyday lives, down to the way we perceive each other and ultimately ourselves. In this book, the author delves deep into the psyches of men regarding their personal experiences and perspectives towards both the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine within themselves. Bringing focus on how society is impacted daily by a limited "either/or" thinking, this book emphasizes how we are all affected on a global level by neglecting the personal aspects of our own Divine Femininity and Divine Masculinity. The men featured in this book explore the religious manifestation and image of a male God, shining light on the fragments that remain without the union and prominent concept of a Divine Feminine figure. Thus, the human male can only fully express his Divine Masculine after he has awakened his Divine Feminine counterpart.

Book Now is the Hour of Her Return

Download or read book Now is the Hour of Her Return written by Clark Strand and published by Monkfish Book Publishing. This book was released on 2022-09-20 with total page 74 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Strand’s mystical poems to Ma Kali, the Dark Goddess of India, as occasioned by his encounters with the material dealt in depth in both Waking Up to the Dark and the Way of the Rose. “A treasure of mystical poetry, these poems pulsate with truth.” —Carolyn Myss, author of Intimate Conversations with the Divine and Anatomy of the Spirit In the early hours of June 16, 2011, Clark Strand witnessed a startling apparition of the Divine Feminine in the form of a young woman with an X of black electrical tape over Her mouth. Strand removed the tape, and She began to speak of a coming age of chaos and collapse in which the world of humankind would be severely chastened so that Her world—the world of Nature—could be renewed. Overwhelmed by the presence of One so fully Other, Strand found that love was the only language that would suffice. Drawing inspiration from Song of Songs and the Bengali mystics Ramprasad and Sri Ramakrishna, he began a series of poems to Ma Kali, the Dark Goddess of India, the words to which often came from the Great Mother Herself.

Book excerpt: DEATH IS NEVER THE END Divine Return picks up where award-winning Final Departure left off... Are heaven and hell just mythological places? That question and many others are explored by Jeff Walton in his new novel, Divine Return: Death Is Never The End. In the standalone sequel to his multiple-award-winning novel Final Departure: Death Is Never On Time, Walton pulls the reader into the world of near-death experiences, satanic-ritual abuse, and the murderous global elite. Drawing from his three-decade career as a NCIS special agent, Walton infuses the steely determination and cool analytical mindset of a veteran counterintelligence expert into Dan Lucas, NCIS special agent retired. Back for more adventure, and together, with a new partner, Dan tries to unravel the secrets of a bizarre murder, reveal the horrific abuse of a forgotten child, and expose the attempts at world domination by followers of Satan. Along the way, he shines a spotlight on the erosion of faith in some of America's Christian churches. Based on facts and years of research, Walton weaves evidentiary material into the fabric of a gripping story that mirrors what's happening in the world today.

Book Divine Secrets and Human Imaginations

Download or read book Divine Secrets and Human Imaginations written by Angelika Berlejung and published by Mohr Siebeck. This book was released on 2021-04-13 with total page 695 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The articles in this volume of collected essays, written over the last two decades and all revised, updated, and supplemented with unpublished material, are grouped around two themes: Divine Secrets and Human Imaginations. The first essays deal with the production, initiation, use and function, the abduction, repatriation, and the replacement of divine images, their outer appearance, and the many facets of the divine presence theology in Ancient Mesopotamia. The essays on the second topic deal with human imaginations, human constructs, and constructed memories, which assign meaning to the past or to things or experiences that are beyond human control. Thematically, several aspects of the human condition are examined, such as the ideas associated in the Old Testament and the Ancient Near East with death, corporeality, enemies, disasters, utopias, and passionate love.

Download or read book Divine Providence written by Bruce R. Reichenbach and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2016-09-08 with total page 345 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We ask God to involve himself providentially in our lives, yet we cherish our freedom to choose and act. Employing both theological reflection and philosophical analysis, the author explores how to resolve the interesting and provocative puzzles arising from these seemingly conflicting desires. He inquires what sovereignty means and how sovereigns balance their power and prerogatives with the free responses of their subjects. Since we are physically embodied in a physical world, we also need to ask how this is compatible with our being free agents. Providence raises questions about God's fundamental attributes. The author considers what it means to affirm God's goodness as logically contingent, how being almighty interfaces with God's self-limitation, and the persistent problems that arise from claiming that God foreknows the future. Discussion of these divine properties spills over into the related issues of why God allows, or even causes, pain and suffering; why, if God is all-knowing, we need to petition God repeatedly and encounter so many unanswered prayers; and how miracles, as ways God acts in the world, are possible and knowable. Throughout, the author looks at Scripture and attends to how providence deepens our understanding of God and enriches our lives.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Divine Substitution is an investigation of ancient conceptualizations of divine presence. Specifically, this thesis investigates the possibility that the ancient Mesopotamian conceptualization of cultic and royal statues, thought to actually manifest the presence of gods and kings, can likewise be found in ancient Israel. Despite the overly pessimistic view of the later biblical authors, material objects were almost certainly believed to extend and manifest the presence of God in pre-exilic Israel (e.g., standing stones). Likewise, the later polemics against such cultic concepts demonstrate Israel's familiarity with this type of conceptualization. These polemics engaged in the rhetoric of mutilation and destruction of cultic representations, the erasure and re-inscription of divine names, and the rhetorical deconstruction of the specific Mesopotamian rituals thought to transform the dead statue into a living god. Though the biblical reflection of these concepts is more often found in the negative commentary regarding "foreign" cultic practices, S. Herring demonstrates that these opinions were not universally held. At least three biblical texts (Gen 1:26f.; Ex 34:29-34; and Ezek 36-37) portray the conceptualization that material images could manifest the divine presence in positive terms. Yet, these positive attestations were limited to a certain type of material image – humans.

Book excerpt: From ancient myth to contemporary art and literature, a beguiling look at the many incarnations of the mischievous—and culturally immortal—god Pan, now in paperback. Pan—he of the cloven hoof and lustful grin, beckoning through the trees. From classical myth to modern literature, film, and music, the god Pan has long fascinated and terrified the western imagination. “Panic” is the name given to the peculiar feeling we experience in his presence. Still, the ways in which Pan has been imagined have varied wildly—fitting for a god whose very name the ancients confused with the Greek word meaning “all.” Part-goat, part-man, Pan bridges the divide between the human and animal worlds. In exquisite prose, Paul Robichaud explores how Pan has been imagined in mythology, art, literature, music, spirituality, and popular culture through the centuries. At times, Pan is a dangerous, destabilizing force; sometimes, a source of fertility and renewal. His portrayals reveal shifting anxieties about our own animal impulses and our relationship to nature. Always the outsider, he has been the god of choice for gay writers, occult practitioners, and New Age mystics. And although ancient sources announced his death, he has lived on through the work of Arthur Machen, Gustav Mahler, Kenneth Grahame, D. H. Lawrence, and countless others. Pan: The Great God’s Modern Return traces his intoxicating dance.
