Book Aurora and the Divine Elevation

Download or read book Aurora and the Divine Elevation written by Becca Fox and published by Becca Fox. This book was released on 2023-07-11 with total page 135 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As the Priestess of Tikal, God of the Harvest, Aurora is gifted with the ability to make crops grow at a supernatural speed. It’s because of this gift that her city is known for their produce. Unfortunately, that is also the reason why her city was conquered. Six years have passed since the Holgarians killed Aurora’s father, imprisoned her mother, and forced her older sister to work in the fields. During that time, Aurora has kept herself and her remaining family relatively safe by using her ability for the benefit of their invaders. She has played her roles well: the serene and encouraging priestess in front of her people, and the powerful but untouchable vessel in front of the Holgarians. It’s only thanks to her faith and secret correspondent that she’s managed to stay strong in the face of such adversity. A prank ends with Aurora locked in a room with a Holgarian soldier, and she quickly realizes that they’re not all monsters. The unexplained deaths of several Holgarian leaders weakens their hold over the city, and it seems like the time to revolt has finally come. But can Aurora save her people without the shedding of innocent blood?

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this book we will talk about divine elevation through the means of prophetic prayers. It is a unique avenue that many Christians are taking for granted. The Bible teaches that we have been ordained kings. It is then our responsibilities to issue decrees and commands. Angels of God are waiting for the decrees of our mouths to enforce divine elevation. More importantly, the power to unleash the reality of divine elevation rests in the Name of Jesus, the name above every other name in existence. Jesus Christ is our Lord, and He reigns over all that exists. A revelatory knowledge of the Name and Person of Jesus Christ guarantees divine elevation. It is for this reason that many Christians are suffering in the hands of the devil. Knowledge in the Word of God initiates us into a blissful covenant of supernatural elevation in God. The good news is that the devil has no part in it. However, apart from principalities and powers of which Christians are afraid of, many people are the reasons behind their delayed or denied elevation. There are obstacles that hinder people from being elevated by God, which many are not even aware of. They have been carefully explained in this book. Rather than concentrating on challenges and situations of life, you must learn to focus your attention on God; speaking the right words, always. This is your season of elevation. The Lord by His mercy, will lift you above shame and reproach, and elevate you to be a global blessing. Congratulations in advance on your supernatural elevation!

Book excerpt: Behind every Elevation is an Elevator. Behind every Success story there is a Success Factor. Behind every Miracle there is an Anointing. In the kingdom of God, you must discover the key that opens your door. I have discovered one thing that is behind every Elevation story in God and that is what I call the Grace Factor. There are so many theological definitions of the concept of grace but simply put grace is unconditional help from above. One day John the Baptist was having a conversation with his disciples and they said to John, "Look, Rabbi, the One who was with you beyond the Jordan, whom you testified about--He is baptizing, and everyone is going to Him." (John 3:26). In other words, the man you introduced into ministry is doing better than you. The pastor that you trained has started a bible school and many students are attending. The woman that use to learn how to design cloths from you is now designing cloths for the elite in the society. John's disciples are not bad people, they were rather shocked that Jesus just came into the system and he is already making big waves. We all sometimes wonder how some people seems to move up in life so fast? John responded with a powerful revelation. John's answer is what I call the Grace Factor. This is what john said, "No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven" (John 3:27) John was saying, if you see any one moving up in life it means heaven is pulling that person up. The chord that pulls is called the Grace Factor. It is this supernatural ability that brings about Elevation. I am very honored and excited to share the content of this book with you. By the Grace Factor on my life, I have ministered to so many people around the world through my media ministry but this year I am overjoyed to share God's word with you through my print ministry. Experiencing the Grace Factor for divine lifting is my first book. I believe this book will not only inspire you, but it will bring Elevation into every area of your life.

Book Deification in the Latin Patristic Tradition

Download or read book Deification in the Latin Patristic Tradition written by Jared Ortiz and published by Studies in Early Christianity. This book was released on 2019 with total page 329 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Contributors to this volume refute the widely held perception that the doctrine of deification primarily belonged in the Eastern Church, and that the Western Church reduced the rich biblical and Greek patristic understanding of salvation to a narrow view of redemption. To the contrary, these essays provide evidence of the wide-ranging use of deification themes in major Latin patristic sources, showing that deification was a native part of early Latin theology that was consitently and creatively employed"--

Book The Works of Dionysius the Areopagite

Download or read book The Works of Dionysius the Areopagite written by Dionysius the Areopagite and published by e-artnow. This book was released on 2021-10-15 with total page 299 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Dionysius the Areopagite (or Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite) remains one of the most enigmatic figures of the early Christianity. He was a Greek author, Christian theologian and Neoplatonic philosopher of the late 5th to early 6th century, who wrote a set of works known as the Corpus Areopagiticum or Corpus Dionysiacum. The author pseudonymously identifies himself in the corpus as "Dionysios", portraying himself as Dionysius the Areopagite, the Athenian convert of Paul the Apostle mentioned in Acts 17:34. This attribution to the earliest decades of Christianity resulted in the work being given great authority in subsequent theological writing in both the East and the West. The Dionysian writings and their mystical teaching were universally accepted throughout the East, amongst both Chalcedonians and non-Chalcedonians, and also had a strong impact in later medieval western mysticism, most notably Meister Eckhart. Its influence decreased in the West with the fifteenth-century demonstration of its later dating, but in recent decades, interest has increased again in the Corpus Areopagiticum.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Conventional wisdom has it that thinking on nature and grace among Roman Catholic intellectuals between the sixteenth century and the eve of Vatican II was severely clouded by the work of Cajetan and his fellow Thomistic commentators. Henri de Lubachas rightly been given credit for pointing this out; and to all appearances, de Lubac's influence won the day, as can be seen by the imprint of his thought upon not just the Second Vatican Council, but also the pontifi cates of John Paul II and Benedict XVI. In recent years, however, a new crop of Thomistic scholars has arisen who question whether de Lubac's word on nature and grace should be the last; hence, the debate over the nature-grace relation, so heated in the mid-twentieth century, has been stirred once again. Andrew Dean Swafford here offers a 'third way' by way of the nineteenth-century German theologian, Matthias J. Scheeben, who has been neglected in academic appraisals of the subject until now. Swafford shows that Scheeben captures the very best of both sides, while at the same time avoiding the characteristic pitfalls so often alleged against each.

Book Nature Grace and Secular Culture

Download or read book Nature Grace and Secular Culture written by Christian C. Irdi and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2024-09-13 with total page 317 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The relationship between nature and grace is a key debate in Fundamental theology. The understanding of how nature and grace relate to each other is also a critically important part in comprehending the underpinnings of Western secular culture, and therefore, how best to evangelise it. This book compares John Milbank and Joseph Ratzinger, two relatively recent theologians, who have both drawn from the insights of Henri de Lubac, and have attempted to address the challenge that secular culture presents to the mission of the church. In demonstrating and comparing how each author’s approach to the nature-grace couplet consequently determines their respective approach to secular culture, it is hoped that responses to the challenge of secular culture might be more comprehensively considered.
