Para el desarrollo de dicha metodología fue necesario implementar un sistema de gestión de calidad basado en esta norma internacional en una organización existente. Este proceso comienza con un diagnóstico inicial, el cual nos arroja el estado de implementación en el que se encuentra el sistema de gestión de calidad de la empresa a intervenir, y nos ayuda a determinar puntos fuertes y débiles para establecer un plan de acción. De esta manera se analiza la información a través de Microsoft Project, un software diseñado y desarrollado por Microsoft para la administración de proyectos, el cual asiste a administradores de proyectos en el desarrollo de planes, asignación de recursos a tareas, dar seguimiento al progreso, administrar presupuesto y analizar cargas de trabajo1. Dicho software nos arroja un estimado del tiempo y recursos necesarios para la implementación del sistema. En este punto se formaliza el compromiso y las responsabilidades de la dirección para con el sistema de gestión de calidad que se desea implementar, después de tener el aval de la alta dirección se procedió con la documentación del sistema, se revisó la planeación estratégica de la organización y se adecúo a la situación actual de la misma, con esto se documentó el manual de calidad de la organización. A través de entrevistas con los colaboradores de la empresa se definieron los procesos que posteriormente fueron caracterizados y de los cuales se derivaron todos los documentos relacionados para el desarrollo eficaz de los mismos, a su vez se generaron todos los formatos necesarios para dejar evidencia objetiva de las actividades realizadas para velar por la satisfacción del cliente final.

In doing so, they generated considerable innovation, which reinforced the integration of the research and outreach functions of the university. The evidence suggests that universities are indeed open systems, in interaction with their environment, able to discover changes that can influence them and to change in response to those changes. They are also able, in the success of their efforts to mitigate the educational impact of the pandemic, to create better futures, as the result of the innovations they can generate. This challenges the view of universities as "ivory towers" being isolated from the surrounding environment and detached from local problems. As they reached out to schools, universities not only generated clear and valuable innovations to sustain educational opportunity and to improve it, this process also contributed to transform internal university processes in ways that enhanced their own ability to deliver on the third mission of outreach

The first is a risk assessment problem. The second relates to risk management. This book provides background on the risks relevant in water systems planning, the different approaches to scenario definition in water system planning, and an introduction to the decision-scaling methodology upon which the decision tree is based. The decision tree is described as a scientifically defensible, repeatable, direct and clear method for demonstrating the robustness of a project to climate change. While applicable to all water resources projects, it allocates effort to projects in a way that is consistent with their potential sensitivity to climate risk. The process was designed to be hierarchical, with different stages or phases of analysis triggered based on the findings of the previous phase. An application example is provided followed by a descriptions of some of the tools available for decision making under uncertainty and methods available for climate risk management. The tool was designed for the World Bank but can be applicable in other scenarios where similar challenges arise.
