Book excerpt: De acuerdo a la memoria realizada, primero se repasan los antecedentes históricos ocurridos en cada país hasta llegar al punto en el que surgieron las leyes de prevención de riesgos laborales que se van a analizar. Para ello, se necesita definir una serie de conceptos para entender mejor el temario. Dichas leyes, una vez estudiadas y analizadas, se pueden ver cuáles son sus diferencias y semejanzas. Los puntos más destacados a la hora de compararlas son los siguientes: organismos, personas protegidas, obligaciones y prestaciones, sanciones, y una serie de definiciones que comentan ambas leyes. Cabe destacar el tema de las sanciones, la manera como se aplica en un país y en otro. A continuación, después de analizar las leyes de prevención de riesgos laborales, se comprueba de qué manera afectan los resultados obtenidos con la prevención en las obras de construcción. Realmente es un tema importante, ya que la construcción es uno de los oficios donde se producen más accidentes laborales. Se analizan que riesgos pueden existir en cada fase, así como sus posibles causas y medidas preventivas que se van a aplicar al respecto. Finalmente, se va a establecer un listado de aspectos a mejorar para la siguiente normativa: reglamentación en servicios de prevención, infracciones y sanciones, y la subcontratación en la construcción. Es importante destacar el tema de la titulación que deberían tener los técnicos en prevención de riesgos laborales, al igual que la situación de los trabajadores autónomos cuando son subcontratados en el país de España, ya que sus condiciones son precarias en comparación con el resto de Europa.

In doing so, they generated considerable innovation, which reinforced the integration of the research and outreach functions of the university. The evidence suggests that universities are indeed open systems, in interaction with their environment, able to discover changes that can influence them and to change in response to those changes. They are also able, in the success of their efforts to mitigate the educational impact of the pandemic, to create better futures, as the result of the innovations they can generate. This challenges the view of universities as "ivory towers" being isolated from the surrounding environment and detached from local problems. As they reached out to schools, universities not only generated clear and valuable innovations to sustain educational opportunity and to improve it, this process also contributed to transform internal university processes in ways that enhanced their own ability to deliver on the third mission of outreach
