This book was released on 1996-09-26 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This first supplement to the new Edition of the Dictionary of Organic Compounds (DOC), published in nine volumes in 1995, extends the literature coverage of the dictionary to mid-1996. It includes over 2,500 entries, some of which are major updates to entries which appeared in volumes 1-9, while the majority are new entries based on the DOC team's ongoing review of the current literature. Some of these cover newly synthesized molecules of research interest, while others refer to known compounds which have come into prominence, for example as synthetic reagents in new methodoligies. The supplement contains its own name, molecular formula and CAS registry number indexes. For any library of research group where organic chemistry or related disciplines are studied or researched, DOC is the prime literature source summarising the current state of knowledge in this important discipline, year-by-year and fully up-to-date. This book should be of interest to chemists, biochemists, biologists and pharmacologists working within academic, industrial or government organisations.

Book Dictionary of Organometallic Compounds

Download or read book Dictionary of Organometallic Compounds written by Jane Macintyre and published by Springer. This book was released on 2013-06-26 with total page 248 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the first time the Structure Index has been issued since the Main Work of the Dictionary of Organometallic Compounds was published in 1984. At that time, the index was much praised as a browsing facility and for allowing users to pinpoint structural features readily. This cumulative index covering Supplements 1-5 has therefore been issued with readers' demands in mind. 1. Using the Index The Structure Index displays in reduced size the structural formulae from all entries in Supplements 1-5 inclusive. These structural formulae are contained within metal element sections ordered according to the element symbol, and within each section in order of Dictionary Number. The Dictionary Number consists of a metal element symbol followed by a five digit number. The first digit indicates the Supplement in which the entry is to be found. When searching for a specific compound, the Structure Index to Supplements 1-5 should be consulted before the one in the Main Work. If the compound of interest is found in one of the Supplements there should be no need for the reader to consult the Main Work. This is because where a Supplement Entry contains additional or corrected information referring to an earlier entry the new entry replaces the old one. vii Ag Silver [oNJOC-Ar~-or qJ{) ~;{() Ag-10001 ~~ [(HC),CNC].,Ag• 3 dimer,bis-EJ20 compkx Ag-10002 Ag-50006 ?Et, Ag-20008 6~2 Ac SiMe, Me,Si ~u~.
