The project would span four Aboriginal regions in the Northwest Territories (NWT): the Inuvialuit Settlement Region, the Gwich in Settlement Area, the Sahtu Settlement Area and the Dehcho region. The MGP would also include a pipeline carrying natural gas liquid from Inuvik to the existing Norman Wells Oil Pipeline.
