Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Decoding 'The God' and 'The Religion' is written in a format that is easy to read and understand, whether the reader is a 13-15 years old or 50-60 years old, a 10th grader or a post graduate. It caters to everyone in a simplified manner with the idea of not asking one to 'believe', but to understand, feel, introspect, explore and know the answers. Each line is written matter-of-factly, which will make readers feel like this is something they already knew, they already had inside them and will hopefully encourage you to look within.Evolution plays a huge part here in this era, so to help you enjoy the experience of your individual journey into the Divinity, I do not need to make you wear the coloured spectacles of belief and dogmas. In today's time, there already is so much information, and awareness, so many studies on physical and medical education, which are progressing every passing day. Social and judicial systems also get upgraded in most democratic countries, so I do not need to write a lot about it; that would be like rewriting an existing software as religion in a book or this series of books. All I need to do here is remove the coloured lens of belief and dogma, and open all eyes to understanding, giving accessibility to upgrades and updates of existing software, with the right intent, taking the human brain as the hardware.I have refrained from taking the name of any religion, sect or belief, or of their respective preachers, so that opportunists do not mislead people from the right context and intent of this book for the sake of their greed, lust, personal gains and agendas.

Book Decoding the Mind of God

Download or read book Decoding the Mind of God written by Margret Ann Kelly and published by BalboaPress. This book was released on 2011-07-06 with total page 741 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Decoding the Mind of God author O. M Kelly delves into the unconscious mind and discovers the secrets of the collective consciousness, showing how we can realize the potential of the human mind through belief in ourselves. The Laws of the universe are identical to the collective consciousness, they reveal an answer to every question we are capable of asking. We constantly receive these answers through the vibrations of the energy fields through our being, all without us knowing how to realign our intelligence with our unconscious mind. The truth remains hidden to us. Surprising as it may seem, the key to understanding ourselves lies in a mathematical language, which is the make-up of the unconscious mind. Kelly explores this language through the texts and myths of myriad cultures and belief systems, notwithstanding the truth of the science behind the Egyptian Hieroglyphs and the stories collected in the Bible. As we read this volume we realize that all of these stories are connected to our own story within. Kellys perceptions of the order of higher consciousness are framed by stories from her experiences of personal discovery and over twenty years of researching, lecturing and teaching all around the world. Once these codes are unveiled, we earn our freedom where we can release the fear in which humanity habitually traps itself, creating our accidents, diseases, why we die, right up to explaining extra terrestrial intelligence. This book exposes the secret codes of the universal language that will help us achieve the divine unity with the universe and ourselves.

This book was released on 2009-04-01 with total page 297 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The nature of evangelical identity in Britain is both a perennial issue and an urgent one. This is especially the case because evangelical Christianity has, throughout its history, been characterized by a remarkable degree of dynamism and diversity. These essays, by a distinguished list of contributors, explore the issue of evangelical identity and the nature of evangelical diversity by investigating the interactions of evangelicalism with national and denominational identities, race and gender, and its expression in spirituality and culture from the evangelical revivals of the eighteenth century to evangelical churches and movements of the present. A second volume will investigate similar issues in relation to evangelical interactions with the Bible and theology. Contributors: Rob Ambler, Andrew Atherstone, Kristin Aune, David W. Bebbington, David Goodhew, John Harvey, Andrew R. Holmes, David Ceri Jones, Ian Jones, Rachel Jordan, David Killingray, Ian Randall, Mark Smith, Brian Talbot, Peter Webster, Martin Wellings, and Eryn White.

Their claims have been hailed by many as a new revelation from God. But does The Bible Code hold up to scrutiny? In this well-researched response, best-selling authors John Weldon and Clifford Wilson explain the mechanics of the code in layman's terms, examining its use and message. Starting with Isaiah and continuing through to Revelation, he shows how the prophetic text of the Bible applies to our day. The vision is made plain before us as Drew progresses through Scripture line by line, precept by precept. Just as the prophet Hosea explains how God spoke to the prophets of old using points of comparison, Drew reveals how those connections allow us to form a complete and accurate picture of the last days. Get out your Bible and follow along as we begin to see how the days ahead will unfold according to the whole of Scripture, rightly divided. Rain down, you heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together. Book The Language of Science and Faith

Download or read book The Language of Science and Faith written by Karl W. Giberson And Francis S. Collins and published by ReadHowYouWant.com. This book was released on 2011-03 with total page 346 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Christians affirm that everything exists because of God--from subatomic quarks to black holes. Science often claims to explain nature without including God at all. And thinking Christians often feel forced to choose between the two. But the good news is that we don't have to make a choice. Science does not overthrow the Bible. Faith does not require rejecting science. World-renowned scientist Francis Collins, author of The Language of God, along with fellow scientist Karl Giberson show how we can embrace both. Their fascinating treatment explains how God cares for and interacts with his creation while science offers a reliable way to understand the world he made. Together they clearly answer dozens of the most common questions people ask about Darwin, evolution, the age of the earth, the Bible, the existence of God and our finely tuned universe. They also consider how their views stack up against the new atheists as well as against creationists and adherents of intelligent design. The authors disentangle the false conclusions of Christians and atheists alike about science and evolution from the actual results of research in astronomy, physics, geology and genetics. In its place they find a story of the grandeur and beauty of a world made by a supremely creative God.

Book Approaching the World s Religions Volume 1

Download or read book Approaching the World s Religions Volume 1 written by Robert Boyd and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2017-05-04 with total page 336 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Philosophically Thinking about World Religions is different from other works in the discipline today. It deviates from the typical approaches used for the study of world religions. Its goal is to engage readers in thinking hard about world religions, not about the data surrounding those traditions. By focusing on philosophical questions, each reader should be challenged to do their own investigations that may reveal the heart of these traditions. Another stance that this project takes that distinguishes it from other texts in the discipline is that it advocates an inclusivist perspective regarding the world religions. Pluralism, which is the predominate assumption today, ends either in contradiction or in the development of a metatheory that dismisses crucial distinctions between the various traditions or eliminates some ancient religions because they do not fit the metatheory. By taking an open inclusivist approach, all religious traditions may engage at the table of dialogue. The final essay is about justice and social affairs. While that discussion is couched within the context of a particular tradition, each religious tradition must have the discussion. But it must be more than an intrareligious dialogue; it must become an interreligious dialogue.

Book The Secret Roots of Christianity

Download or read book The Secret Roots of Christianity written by David Wray and published by . This book was released on 2012-11-01 with total page 756 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Traditional religious history preserves a rarely acknowledged secret that Christianity developed from at least three ancient roots: a Western structural root derived from Mediterranean Greek culture, an Eastern spiritual root from Anatolia and Persia, and a literary Jewish historical root, which masked the other roots and supported the idea that Christians had taken the place of Jews in relationship with God by entering a new covenant with Jesus. Each root contributed something special to the development of Christianity as follows: Supported by pagan iconography and rhetoric, the Western root imprinted Christianity with Greek spirit in a Hellenistic universe. The Eastern root filled the Greek construct with magic, focused humanity on a divine mission, and infused popular reverence for goddesses into Christian beliefs about the Virgin Mary. The literary Jewish root played two contradictory roles: Jewish scripture served as the reliable witness that proved Jesus to be both God and savior; and double-edged moral lessons in the Old Testament explained catastrophic events in the first century A.D. as divine judgment against Jews, supporting beliefs by early pagan converts to Christianity that Romans were good, Jews were bad, and God abandoned Jews for treacherously murdering Jesus. Two thousand years ago, Mediterranean cults included practices and beliefs that modern Christians associate exclusively with Christianity. People worshipped divine mothers who gave birth to dying and resurrecting gods on December 25. Saviors miraculously healed faithful followers and guided them to lead moral lives. Some cults baptized their followers, some passed their sins and inner demons to pigs, and some waited for a complete destruction of evil during the imminent End of Days. Then, as now, people argued whether the end would come by fire or water and whether many or few souls would be saved. Numerous symbols and beliefs associated in modern times with Christianity already existed in pre-Christian Hellenistic cults: Madonna and child images, angels, God the Father, the cross as a symbol of life after death, and the gift of eternal life through the shedding of immortal blood. On temple walls, wise men offered gifts of incense and gold to newborn gods; and merciful mothers granted salvation to the poor in spirit who confessed, repented, and begged forgiveness for their sins. However, Jews generally rejected all these practices, symbols, and beliefs. Some Jews believed in physical resurrection, and some did not. Some believed in eternal life, and some did not. For most Jews, however, a righteous life required the following of God's laws. If a Jew sinned against another man, no automatic forgiveness from God was possible. Forgiveness required acknowledgement of wrongdoing, restitution, and then forgiveness from the wronged party. Applying Jewish ethics to problems at the Jerusalem Temple meant recognizing the corruption within the priesthood, refusing to tolerate the evil rule of Rome, and giving one's life if necessary to precipitate the Kingdom of God. Just as God always had responded to the prayers of suffering Jews in the Bible, he would do so again. Soon he would send a messiah to deliver Jerusalem from the evil power of Rome and to cleanse Judea from the polluting practices of pagan cults. Drawing from both visible and secret roots, Christians freed themselves from paying for salvation from mystery cults while preserving the ability to worship a virgin-born hero with all the trappings of a pagan solar deity. This book explores the roots of Christianity in seven parts. The first three parts provide an overview of religious beliefs, practices, and iconography in the ancient Greek world that influenced Western culture and religion. The fourth, fifth, and sixth parts describe how the West developed under Roman influence. Then the seventh part focuses on the life of Jesus and the emergence of Christian cults in the first century A.D.

Book excerpt: About the book: Throughout history, the knowledge of the Person of the God of the Bible has never been as vague as it has become in our day. In recent times Christians have been found walking away from God and the faith. Sadly, the reasons for this singular decision is that they neither understood God nor the system of His Kingdom. In other words, they became spent practicing dead religion and weary of remaining spiritually unfulfilled after so many years of practice. This book is an attempt to solve this problem. Every believer ought to know and understand that the God of the Bible is not formless. He is real and wants to be known. He has neither hidden Himself from man nor shrouded the things of the kingdom in mystery as many believe. God isn't too mysterious to be figured out and He is not going to strike dead anyone who attempts to figure Him out. He wants you to know Him and understand Him. God has often been misrepresented and misunderstood and that is the reason why we have not loved Him more. This book "ONE - Understanding the God of the Bible", takes you through scriptures and establishes your heart in Whom the Bible says God is. The author helps the reader to see that God isn't shrouding Himself in mysticism rather it is His desire to reveal Himself to man in order to deepen man's confidence and trust in Him in a loving relationship. As you read and become more conscious of the person, nature and character of GOD Almighty, may you be saturated with an increasing measure of the manifested presence of God, that will cause you to do great faith exploits in Jesus Name.
