Only when they return to Kastallon will the divided become one, and the eEnemy shall be thwarted. A blade gifted by the ancestor shall be wielded; a winged being of white shall fly. Signs of restoration will be seen: the desert becomes saturated, and the dark becomes light. Such is the prophecy of Skeef, our Llord and Pprotector. The Gilded Caliph reigns supreme. Kastallon, or Tthe Land Where Castles Lie, is a realm in its infancy. At its inception, it iwas a world full of wonder and magnificent sights. But in the final days of its first era, it wais invaded by the Gilded Caliphate, a faction of warmongering soldiers bent on total domination and the spread of their deity's influence. Since then, the land has been cursed, and the only way to restore it to its former glory is to make two thrones from one. Two must rule, not one. Willow Dennings is an orphan from New York in the early 20 twentieth century. She has known naught else except the orphanage, its teachers, and its loving headmaster, Mr. Linmer. One day, Willow is visited by a strange bird just outside her bedroom window. When the bird finds its way inside, it leads Willow to the revelation of a lifetime! Thus begins her journey to Kastallon and the adventure therein to restore the Two Thrones from one. Along the way, she meets friendly and frightful creatures, a mystical being, and a test of pure willpower. Will she become everything she iwas destined to be? Or will the Caliphate prove too much for the young chosen one?

Shadows and Glances is a collection of poems and short stories about reflection, hauntings, and bone-chilling fright. You'll be visited by ghouls, demons, witches, and a highwayman that collects souls, along with succubi that suck out your essence in the middle of the night. Book Beauty in Grey Skies

Download or read book Beauty in Grey Skies written by Eric T. Smith and published by Fulton Books, Inc.. This book was released on 2022-02-24 with total page 185 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Beauty in Grey Skies is the story of a happily married, new father who just happened to be battling brain cancer--not a simple form of cancer, but grade-four glioblastoma. That is the worst grade when it's located inside your head. Unfortunately, this story is completely true, and it's about me. 2017 was honestly the best and worst year of my life. I promise you that I am not exaggerating at all with that statement. My wife gave birth to our daughter literally three days after the third attempt to surgically remove the devil from my head. As much as I wish this was fictional, it's truly not. This is our life. I'm still here, still working full-time, enjoying family activities, and watching our beautiful girl grow. I want to share my positivity with anybody dealing with similar health issues, whether it's your battle or someone that you care about. There can be a brighter side of a difficult life. I'm extremely lucky and want to share my story.

  • ISBN : 1649528523
  • Pages : 38 pages

Download or read book Be Anxious For Nothing written by TaSheria S. Dukes and published by Fulton Books, Inc.. This book was released on 2022-02-24 with total page 38 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Be Anxious for Nothing started when I was sitting at the kitchen table of my mother's house. I thought about the entire experience of dealing with depression and anxiety. Thinking about how far God has brought me and how much better I was after I checked myself into the Behavioral Health part of the hospital to properly deal with mental illnesses that I had never undergone until this year of 2020. After about two months of the back-and-forth battle in my head between wanting to quit and choosing to fight for my health and life, it dawned on me that I needed to get my story out there. As I sat and let still water run deep in my head as I thought about writing this book, God gave me the title as clearly as can be. My prayer is that my testimony helps anyone who is going through anxiety, depression, or anything else for that matter, to stay encouraged and to know that you are stronger than anything that comes your way. As my uncle Lindell Jr. would say, "Your better days are ahead of you."

Book Peaceful Warriors

Download or read book Peaceful Warriors written by Mita Pandya-Sandil and published by Fulton Books. This book was released on 2022-01-10 with total page 64 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Peaceful Warriors is about two historical figures who used the power of peaceful protests, nonviolent communication, and perseverance to bring about social change in the world. Mahatma Gandhi and his nonviolent movement began in 1915 and brought freedom for India from Great Britain in 1947. Dr. King was inspired by the nonviolent movement and decided to use the same methods in America when he launched the civil rights movement in 1955. Although both men marched on different lands, the idea of freedom and equality for all was a message that transpired across generations and continents. It is essential we keep their message alive and continue to instill the values of peace, equality, and respect for our fellow human beings in the generations to come.
