It's a manual that can be lived. This manual holds all the wisdom and years of my experience in the prophetic office. I freely share all the wisdom, instruction, trials and errors that have groomed me to where I presently am in power, anointing and ministry. I have had the prophet's school in session for the last nine years, releasing 200 prophets and prophetess in the kingdom that operate in protocol, order, and accuracy. Well all that I have been through is the result of the birthing of this manual. This manual is used in our P.I.T. School of training as the text book to enhance the teaching. Read, study and bind this wisdom and teaching to the spirit of your mind so you can freely apply the instruction. Book The Prophetic Responsibility

Download or read book The Prophetic Responsibility written by Matthew L. Stevenson III and published by Charisma Media. This book was released on 2019-10-01 with total page 208 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God speaks every day. You have a responsibility to listen. The church is in a critical season. There are unprecedented crises in every segment of the world, and ungodly opinions and philosophies abound. The war over truth is raging as the idea of maintaining solidarity with Jesus Christ is growing increasingly unpopular. Since biblical days God has used the prophetic voice during times of crisis, darkness, and disaster to speak into the earth. Knowing and partnering with the thoughts, words, plans, and actions of God are not a path reserved for a select few. Being prophetic should be a priority to all Christians. Leaving the prophetic responsibility to those walking in the office of a prophet is not biblical. God wants to unleash an unprecedented outpouring of His Spirit in the earth and bring in a record-setting harvest of souls.

Book The Healer Prophet in Afro Christian Churches

Download or read book The Healer Prophet in Afro Christian Churches written by Gerhardus C. Oosthuizen and published by BRILL. This book was released on 2016-05-18 with total page 229 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Apart from the mainline, Pentecostal, and Zionist churches, there are different types of African Independent/Indigenous Churches (AIC). The greater part of the more than four thousand denominations and eight million adherents came into the AIC during the past three decades, mainly from the traditional African religious background. The important role of the diviner in the traditional society has been replaced by the prophet in the AIC; the prophet understands the worldview of his/her people, especially the cultural diseases. In some churches the office of prophet cum diviner is represented by one person. The AIC movement is the most dynamic church movement in many parts of Africa, especially Southern Africa. The consistent growth of these churches can largely be accounted for by the healing procedures they use, which ar highlighted in this study. Dr. Oosthuizen approaches healing from various angles, as sickness is not only determined by physical and psychological factors, but also by disturbed human relationships and socio-political and economic tensions.

Book Prophetic Drama in the Old Testament

Download or read book Prophetic Drama in the Old Testament written by David Stacey and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2018-09-12 with total page 320 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most books on the prophets contain a page or two on what is usually called “prophetic symbolism,” but full-scale treatments are remarkably few, and in English entirely lacking. Dr. Stacey examines all the evidence in detail, considers the various explanations of the phenomenon that have been offered, gives particular attention to the apparent link with magic, and provides a model whereby these dramatic actions can be properly understood. This book is significant for the study of Hebrew religion; it also paves the way for further investigation of similar actions in the New Testament.

Book excerpt: Ecstatic prophecy is a form of prophecy in which the prophet is completely overtaken by the Holy Spirit--body, soul, and spirit--and prophesies almost as an oracle. In Ecstatic Prophecy, Stacey Campbell, a respected teacher and regular and high-profile recipient of this gift, explains the ins and outs of this remarkable mode of prophecy. She takes readers through biblical and early church examples of ecstatic prophecy and uncovers the history of its occurrence until modern times. She also examines how those with this gift can mature in it, avoid deception by testing spirits, and use this method of prophesying to grow closer to God and to reveal Jesus. This unique book will be compelling to anyone who follows prophetic literature and movements, as well as to those who may be experiencing ecstatic prophecy without understanding it.

Book Ways of Knowing

Download or read book Ways of Knowing written by Jean-Guy Goulet and published by U of Nebraska Press. This book was released on 1998-01-01 with total page 378 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This innovative study reveals the creative world of a Native community. Once seminomadic hunters and gatherers who traveled by horse wagon, canoe, and dog sled, the Dene Tha of northern Canada today live in government-built homes in the settlement of Chateh. Their lives are a distinct blend of old and new, in which traditional forms of social control, healing, and praying entwine with services supplied by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, a nursing station, and a Roman Catholic church. Many older cultural beliefs and practices remain: ghosts linger, reincarnating and sometimes causing deaths; past and future are interpreted through the Prophet Dance; ?animal helpers? become lifelong companions and sources of power; and personal visions and experiences are considered the roots of true knowledge. Why and how are such striking beliefs and practices still vital to the Dene Tha? Drawing on extensive fieldwork at Chateh, anthropologist Jean-Guy Goulet delineates the interconnections between the strands of meaning and experience with which the Dene Tha constitute and creatively engage their world. Goulet?s insights into the Dene Tha?s ways of knowing were gained through directly experiencing their lifeway rather than through formal instruction. This experiential perspective makes his study especially illuminating, providing an intimate glimpse of a remarkable and enduring Native community.
