Book Crude Adipic Acid Purification Cost Analysis Adipic Acid E71A

Download or read book Crude Adipic Acid Purification Cost Analysis Adipic Acid E71A written by Intratec and published by Intratec. This book was released on 2019-09-17 with total page 102 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This report presents a cost analysis of Adipic Acid purification. In this process, a crude Adipic Acid stream generated by a two-stage oxidation process (similar to Invista technology) is purified into fiber-grade Adipic Acid. The crude stream passes through a series of purification steps that include centrifugation, crystallization and drying. A mixture of adipic, glutaric, and succinic acids is generated as by-product. This report was developed based essentially on the following reference(s): Keywords: Hexanedioic Acid, DuPont, Ketone/Alcohol Oil, Air Oxidation, Nitric Acid Oxidation, Boric Acid

Book Adipic Acid Production from Phenol Cost Analysis Adipic Acid E51A

Download or read book Adipic Acid Production from Phenol Cost Analysis Adipic Acid E51A written by Intratec and published by Intratec. This book was released on 2019-09-17 with total page 102 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This report presents a cost analysis of Adipic Acid production from phenol. The process examined is a typical hydrogenation process. In this process, phenol is hydrogenated to produce KA oil (mixture of cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol). The KA oil is then oxidized with nitric acid to produce Adipic Acid. This report was developed based essentially on the following reference(s): "Cyclohexanol and Cyclohexanone", Ullmann's Encyclopedia of Industrial Chemistry, 7th edition Keywords: Hexanedioic Acid, Ketone/Alcohol Oil

Book Adipic Acid Production from Benzene Cost Analysis Adipic Acid E41A

Download or read book Adipic Acid Production from Benzene Cost Analysis Adipic Acid E41A written by Intratec and published by Intratec. This book was released on 2019-09-17 with total page 102 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This report presents a cost analysis of Adipic Acid production from benzene using a two-stage oxidation process. The process examined is similar to Invista process. The Adipic Acid plant is integrated upstream with a plant for cyclohexane production from benzene and a plant for nitric acid production. A mixture of Adipic, glutaric, and succinic acids is generated as by-product. This report was developed based essentially on the following reference(s): US Patent 20040054235, issued to DuPont in 2004 (assigned to Invista in 2004) Keywords: Hexanedioic Acid, Boric Acid, Ketone/Alcohol Oil, KA Oil, Cyclohexanone, Cyclohexanol

Book Adipic Acid Production from Cyclohexane Cost Analysis Adipic Acid E11A

Download or read book Adipic Acid Production from Cyclohexane Cost Analysis Adipic Acid E11A written by Intratec and published by Intratec. This book was released on 2017-06-01 with total page 102 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This report presents a cost analysis of Adipic Acid production from cyclohexane The process examined is a two-stage oxidation process, similar to the Invista technology. In this process, cyclohexane is initially oxidized with air to produce KA oil (mixture of cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol). Subsequently, the KA oil is oxidized with nitric acid to produce Adipic Acid. A mixture of adipic, glutaric, and succinic acids is generated as by-product. This report was developed based essentially on the following reference(s): (1) US Patent 20040054235, issued to DuPont in 2004 (assigned to Invista in 2004) (2) "Adipic Acid," Kirk-Othmer Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology, 5th edition Keywords: Hexanedioic Acid, DuPont, Ketone/Alcohol Oil, Air Oxidation, Nitric Acid Oxidation, Boric Acid
