Book A New Formula for Creation

Download or read book A New Formula for Creation written by Judith K. Moore and published by Light Technology Publishing. This book was released on 2006-05-08 with total page 181 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book brings an inspiring positive message regarding the future of our planet. Earth is experiencing the Shift of the Ages, a time marked by massive Earth changes and social upheaval. This is foretold in many prophecies, including Hopi prophecies and the biblical Revelations. They warn that raising consciousness is the only way to avert a massive cataclysm. The message in this book is unique, for it speaks of a grand cosmic plan in which Earth plays a crucial role. Our planet has gone through seven cycles of Creation, ending in destruction. It is now completing the eighth cycle and will not enter destruction. The ninth cycle of Creation will be in the Now consciousness of harmony, unity, and oneness. The world as we know it is a holographic projection manifested by the ultimate force of Creation, which is love. A distortion developed in this hologram, a dense energy that separated and did not know itself as part of the love of Creation. This resulted in the cycles, and a new Creation had to rise from the ashes of the old. This distortion is identified as a "chip" in the blueprint of Creation. The chip has been discovered and removed. A new Creation is being birthed -- a Creation not impeded by the distortion, which manifests as fear, hatred, greed, and power. A new "life unto life" principle of Creation is coming into being, eliminating cyclical destruction. "Judith Moore's new book, A New Formula for Creation, is a must read if you want to know how the Divine plan is manifesting the transformations occurring on planet Earth now. A new multidimensional cosmic order of interconnectedness at the micro and macro levels is explained in a new light, from the ultimate source of consciousness to the emanation of vibrations, to sound and light, to form and then to matter. When I started reading this book, I could not stop." -- Fadel Behman, PhD

Book excerpt: What is life? Humans have been asking this question for thousands of years. But as technology has advanced and our understanding of biology has deepened, the answer has evolved. For decades, scientists have been exploring the limits of nature by modifying and manipulating DNA, cells and whole organisms to create new ones that could never have existed on their own. In Creation, science writer Adam Rutherford explains how we are now radically exceeding the boundaries of evolution and engineering entirely novel creatures—from goats that produce spider silk in their milk to bacteria that excrete diesel to genetic circuits that identify and destroy cancer cells. As strange as some of these creations may sound, this new, synthetic biology is helping scientists develop radical solutions to some of the world’s most pressing crises—from food shortages to pandemic disease to climate change—and is paving the way for inventions once relegated to science fiction. Meanwhile, these advances are shedding new light on the biggest mystery of all—how did life begin? We know that every creature on Earth came from a single cell, sparked into existence four billion years ago. And as we come closer and closer to understanding the ancient root that connects all living things, we may finally be able to achieve a second genesis—the creation of new life where none existed before. Creation takes us on a journey four billion years in the making—from the very first cell to the ground-breaking biological inventions that will shape the future of our planet.

Book excerpt: Design Patterns demonstrates how software developers can improve the performance, maintainability, portability, and scalability of their code through the use of the Gang of Four design patterns. After a discussion of patterns methodology, reasons for using design patterns, the book delves into each of the 23 patterns. Each pattern section gives a detailed description of the pattern, refactored from either Boolean logic or simpler, less-maintainable code that you might encounter in the real world, and shows readers how to use the pattern in their code. The text walks readers through making the move from current code to the pattern, lists the benefits of using the pattern, and shows how the pattern performs after the refactoring effort, with a goal throughout of providing practical implementations.

Book Teaching Coding through Game Creation

Download or read book Teaching Coding through Game Creation written by Sarah Kepple and published by Bloomsbury Publishing USA. This book was released on 2018-08-24 with total page 369 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This engaging guide demonstrates how easy, fun, and rewarding it can be to teach and learn coding at the library. In our technology-obsessed society, computer coding is a highly valued and in-demand skill, but many people consider it an activity only for technology geeks and educated professionals—even more so to teach coding. Not so, says author Sarah Kepple. In this accessible guide, she explains why you don't have to be an expert to lead coding, shows how easy and rewarding learning and teaching coding can be, and provides step-by-step instructions to help you and your community get started. The book shows how to engage students quickly with learning activities that springboard off of the powerful appeal of video games. The author takes users through activities that introduce popular programming languages—including GameMaker, JavaScript, Python, and Scratch—to create video games, and in the process, to learn coding. These activities, themed around classic and popular stories, appeal to a broad age range—from elementary-age youth through high school and beyond to adults and seniors. Readers will see why school and public libraries are venues ideally suited for coding classes, workshops, clubs, or camps, and they will understand why teaching coding not only meets an important need but also serves to highlight the library's relevance to its community.

Book Tool support for collaborative creation of interactive storytelling media

Download or read book Tool support for collaborative creation of interactive storytelling media written by Paula Klinke and published by Universitätsverlag Potsdam. This book was released on 2022-09-21 with total page 178 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Scrollytellings are an innovative form of web content. Combining the benefits of books, images, movies, and video games, they are a tool to tell compelling stories and provide excellent learning opportunities. Due to their multi-modality, creating high-quality scrollytellings is not an easy task. Different professions, such as content designers, graphics designers, and developers, need to collaborate to get the best out of the possibilities the scrollytelling format provides. Collaboration unlocks great potential. However, content designers cannot create scrollytellings directly and always need to consult with developers to implement their vision. This can result in misunderstandings. Often, the resulting scrollytelling will not match the designer’s vision sufficiently, causing unnecessary iterations. Our project partner Typeshift specializes in the creation of individualized scrollytellings for their clients. Examined existing solutions for authoring interactive content are not optimally suited for creating highly customized scrollytellings while still being able to manipulate all their elements programmatically. Based on their experience and expertise, we developed an editor to author scrollytellings in the lively.next live-programming environment. In this environment, a graphical user interface for content design is combined with powerful possibilities for programming behavior with the morphic system. The editor allows content designers to take on large parts of the creation process of scrollytellings on their own, such as creating the visible elements, animating content, and fine-tuning the scrollytelling. Hence, developers can focus on interactive elements such as simulations and games. Together with Typeshift, we evaluated the tool by recreating an existing scrollytelling and identified possible future enhancements. Our editor streamlines the creation process of scrollytellings. Content designers and developers can now both work on the same scrollytelling. Due to the editor inside of the lively.next environment, they can both work with a set of tools familiar to them and their traits. Thus, we mitigate unnecessary iterations and misunderstandings by enabling content designers to realize large parts of their vision of a scrollytelling on their own. Developers can add advanced and individual behavior. Thus, developers and content designers benefit from a clearer distribution of tasks while keeping the benefits of collaboration.

Barbara Marx Hubbard American futurist, author, and public speaker Lilly Wong In her early 30’s, she appeared to “have it all”. Yet, a panic attack woke her up to realizing something profound was missing: her own Cosmic Self. Book From Creation to Re Creation

Download or read book From Creation to Re Creation written by Daniel Lazich and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2021-09-27 with total page 284 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Within the last forty years, scientific discoveries and knowledge about our universe contain unprecedented theological implications. They imply that the creator exists, more so than ever before. These discoveries have developed a worldview that challenges both theologians and scientists to engage in a mutually fruitful dialogue. From Creation to Re-Creation uniquely presents God’s accomplishments as author Daniel Lazich transports himself to a time when authors wrote creation narratives to depict the contrast between the ancient epics and biblical narrative. It forcefully asserts that the creation of this world and humankind was accomplished by the Creator, who loves humanity selflessly. This assertion is backed by the most advanced study and research concerning our universe’s nature. Lazich writes that the final observer in quantum cosmology and God in the Bible are the same. From Creation to Re-Creation employs unprecedented theological implications to assert that the creator’s existence is necessary for the universe and humankind in it to exist.
