This book was released on 2013 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Mod lisation syst mique pour la conception de v hicules lectriques multi sources written by Philippe Chapoulie and published by . This book was released on 1999 with total page 204 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

COUTIER and published by . This book was released on 1997 with total page 260 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: IL S'EST AGIT DURANT LA THESE, DE CHERCHER DES SOLUTIONS VISANT A AUGMENTER L'AUTONOMIE D'UN VEHICULE ELECTRIQUE PAR ASSISTANCE AU CONDUCTEUR DANS LA GESTION DES FLUX D'ENERGIE. DEUX CONCEPTS ONT ETE ETUDIES. LE PREMIER CONSISTA A OPTIMISER LES TRAJECTOIRES A L'AIDE D'UN ALGORITHME DE COMMANDE OPTIMALE, LE DEUXIEME, A LIMITER PROGRESSIVEMENT AVEC LA VITESSE L'ACCELERATION DISPONIBLE. LE PREMIER CONCEPT UTILISANT LA COMMANDE OPTIMALE REQUIERE MALHEUREUSEMENT UNE TACHE DE PLANIFICATION DES TRAJECTOIRES, INTERDISANT UNE APPLICATION A COURT COMME A MOYEN TERME. MAIS L'ALGORITHME ETABLI A PERMIS DE MONTRER, EN GARDANT INCHANGES LES PARAMETRES CINEMATIQUES HABITUELS DES CYCLES, QUE LA CONSOMMATION DEPEND EGALEMENT LARGEMENT DE L'ASYMETRIE DES HISTOGRAMMES DE VITESSE, QUANTIFIEE PAR LE COEFFICIENT D'ASYMETRIE. CE COMPORTEMENT DES HISTOGRAMMES RENVOIE A UNE CARACTERISTIQUE TEMPORELLE DES TRAJECTOIRES OPTIMISEES QUI VOIENT DES PALIERS DE VITESSE SE FORMER AUTOUR DE LA VITESSE MOYENNE. LES EFFETS DU DEUXIEME CONCEPT ONT ETE ETUDIES SUR UN SIMULATEUR COMPLET DE VEHICULE ELECTRIQUE, MODELISANT UN VOLTA. UNE PHASE EXPERIMENTALE A SERVI A EN IDENTIFIER LES PARAMETRES PHYSIQUES, UNE VALIDATION A SUIVI. LA DISCRETISATION A ETE SOIGNEUSEMENT ETUDIEE, POUR QUE LE SIMULATEUR BACKWARD RESULTANT ALLIE PRECISION ET RAPIDITE. IL PERMET DE MODIFIER LES CYCLES DE CONDUITE UTILISES EN ENTREE EN TENANT COMPTE DES LIMITES DE FONCTIONNEMENT DU VEHICULE. APRES UN BILAN DES PERFORMANCES, ON A EVALUE LES GAINS A ESCOMPTER EN APPLIQUANT LA LIMITATION PROGRESSIVE DE L'ACCELERATION. EN N'OCCASIONNANT QUE DE FAIBLES PERTES DE VITESSE MOYENNE, L'AUTONOMIE AUGMENTE LARGEMENT. LES RAISONS EN ONT ALORS ETE CLAIREMENT EXPLICITEES. LES SIGNAUX OBTENUS SE RAPPROCHENT DE SIGNAUX OPTIMISES AU SENS OU LE COEFFICIENT D'ASYMETRIE AUGMENTE. CONTRAIREMENT A L'ALGORITHME DE COMMANDE OPTIMALE, LE CONCEPT DE LIMITATION PROGRESSIVE DE L'ACCELERATION POURRAIT ETRE TRES FACILEMENT APPLIQUE SUR UN VEHICULE ACTUEL.

Book Renewable Energy for Smart and Sustainable Cities

Download or read book Renewable Energy for Smart and Sustainable Cities written by Mustapha Hatti and published by Springer. This book was released on 2018-11-23 with total page 571 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book features cutting-edge research presented at the second international conference on Artificial Intelligence in Renewable Energetic Systems, IC-AIRES2018, held on 24–26 November 2018, at the High School of Commerce, ESC-Koléa in Tipaza, Algeria. Today, the fundamental challenge of integrating renewable energies into the design of smart cities is more relevant than ever. While based on the advent of big data and the use of information and communication technologies, smart cities must now respond to cross-cutting issues involving urban development, energy and environmental constraints; further, these cities must also explore how they can integrate more sustainable energies. Sustainable energies are a major determinant of smart cities’ longevity. From an environmental and technological standpoint, these energies offer an optimal power supply to the electric network while creating significantly less pollution. This requires flexibility, i.e., the availability of supply and demand. The end goal of any smart city is to improve the quality of life for all citizens (both in the city and in the countryside) in a way that is sustainable and respectful of the environment. This book encourages the reader to engage in the preservation of our environment, every moment, every day, so as to help build a clean and healthy future, and to think of the future generations who will one day inherit our planet. Further, it equips those whose work involves energy systems and those engaged in modelling artificial intelligence to combine their expertise for the benefit of the scientific community and humanity as a whole.

Book Faecal Sludge Management

Download or read book Faecal Sludge Management written by Linda Strande and published by IWA Publishing. This book was released on 2014-08-15 with total page 428 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is estimated that literally billions of residents in urban and peri-urban areas of Africa, Asia, and Latin America are served by onsite sanitation systems (e.g. various types of latrines and septic tanks). Until recently, the management of faecal sludge from these onsite systems has been grossly neglected, partially as a result of them being considered temporary solutions until sewer-based systems could be implemented. However, the perception of onsite or decentralized sanitation technologies for urban areas is gradually changing, and is increasingly being considered as long-term, sustainable options in urban areas, especially in low- and middle-income countries that lack sewer infrastructures. This is the first book dedicated to faecal sludge management. It compiles the current state of knowledge of the rapidly evolving field of faecal sludge management, and presents an integrated approach that includes technology, management, and planning based on Sandecs 20 years of experience in the field. Faecal Sludge Management: Systems Approach for Implementation and Operation addresses the organization of the entire faecal sludge management service chain, from the collection and transport of sludge, and the current state of knowledge of treatment options, to the final end use or disposal of treated sludge. The book also presents important factors to consider when evaluating and upscaling new treatment technology options. The book is designed for undergraduate and graduate students, and engineers and practitioners in the field who have some basic knowledge of environmental and/or wastewater engineering.

Book excerpt: This is a practical handbook providing a step-by-step approach to the techniques used for characterizing wastewater sources and investigating sites where collection, treatment and reuse/disposal technologies will be installed. It is intended to help enable local implementation of on-site and decentralized wastewater management system (DWMS)for wide scale use in development settings. How to Design Wastewater Systems for Local Conditions in Developing Countries helps local service providers and regulatory officials make informed decisions through the use of tools, checklists and case studies. It includes a link to a web based community of on-site and decentralized wastewater professionals, which contains related tools and case studies. This handbook serves as a reference for training classes, certification programs, and higher education programs in civil and sanitary engineering. There is an increasing interest on the part of local government officials and private sector service providers to implement wastewater treatment systems to solve sanitation problems. The model presented in this handbook promotes activities that first generate data related to source and site conditions that represent critical inputs, and then applies this information to the technology selection process. Matching the most appropriate technologies to the specific needs of the wastewater project is the key that leads to long term sustainability. How to Design Wastewater Systems for Local Conditions in Developing Countries is an invaluable resource for public sector decision makers and private sector service providers in developing countries. It is also a useful text for students at engineering colleges in developing countries interested in taking a class that teaches the methods of decentralized wastewater management system (DWMS) development.
