Book excerpt: This study aims to analyze the factors that influence carbon emission disclosure in extractive companies in Indonesia. Measurement of the extent of carbon emission disclosure is by using a checklist developed based on the information request sheet provided by the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project). Factors to be tested are Company Characteristics using Current Ratio, Return on Assets and Debt to Equity Ratio and Environmental Performance using PROPER Ratings. The sample of this study was all extractive companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2018 that were selected using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show that only environmental performance variables affect the disclosure of carbon emissions, while the Current Ratio, ROA and Debt to Equity Ratio variables do not affect the disclosure of carbon emissions.

Book excerpt: The objectives of this study are examining the influence of environmental performance, good corporate governance mechanism and earning management on Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure. The population used in this study was companies that listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2009-2013. Samples were selected using purposive sampling method and there are 24 manufacture companies were able to fulfill the criteria. The analysis methods of this research use multiple linear regressions. Data used are secondary data from Indonesian Capital Market Directory, and environment Ministry website. The result of this research found that environmental performance, public ownership and earning management have insignificant influence to Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure. Board of commissioners, independence of commissioner, and managerial ownership have significantly influence on the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Data were analyzed by multiple linear regression method. Findings - The result shows that the environmental performance and leverage affect on disclosure of corporate social responsibility, while foreign ownership doesn't affect on disclosure of corporate social responsibility. Novelty - This study adds to the variable debt and foreign ownership.Type of Paper - Empirical.

Do the levels of social and environmental performances have positive association with financial performance? The findings of the study indicate that in terms of social variable, the performance of Indonesian companies and MNCs is the same, while in terms of environmental perspectives, the performance of MNCs i.s better than the one of Indonesia companies. In Indonesian companies, corporate performance and corporate social and environmental performances are not related, while in MNCs the relation is partially supported for social perspective and mostly supported for environmental perspective.

This research population was manufacturing company listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange that participated in PROPER 2012/2013 and 2013/2014. Based on the multiple regression analysis, audit committee partially had a significant effect on financial performance, while the others did not. Meanwhile, the analysis result shows that environmental performance and all GCG mechanisms simultaneously have significant effects on financial performance.
