Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In life we are all searching for something and in life there is something we all need and may be lacking, we live our stressful lives in search of wealth for temporary comfort and worldly desires in search of pleasure, yet there is something we all need and are lacking. The thing I feel we all search for and may be lacking is love, the greatest command was to love God and I say be loved by Him in return, we all search to love and be loved, through a personal relationship with God we come to find love, not only is God love but we begin to love God and God loves us in return, finding the highest form of love. In order to have an experience with God one does not necessarily need to live a religious lifestyle or have to go to church but that rather through talks, prayers and communion with God one can form and have their very own personal relationship with God their dad.“A personal relationship” is based around and rooted in belief, faith and love and helps one to learn to trust and rely on God on a day to day basis in your life. In order to be in right relation with God and to live and experience the fullness of God's favour and blessings “A personal relationship” teaches one the wisdom of the importance of a path of goodness, to be a good person and to always give out and do good, it then takes you into the principle to love one another as we wish to be loved in order to be in right relation with God. A personal relationship with God does not matter what religion, faith or path you are from as all the streams of a river but lead to the ultimate source God and as a personal relationship should be the base to any religion, path or faith as “are you just religious?” or do you truly have a relationship with your God.A personal relationship with God is a one on one personal experience that we have with God our father and dad and can be done in a quiet moment where we find the space and time or even when we find a peaceful moment like watching the sun set over the ocean, there in this space and time, there in a peaceful moment we enter talks and prayers with God where we get to know and experience God on a close and personal level and God likewise gets to know and experience us on this same level in the comfort of our own home, not in any congregation or gathering.

Book Having a Personal Relationship With God

Download or read book Having a Personal Relationship With God written by Ms. Zelia Champ and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2007-02-07 with total page 50 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Having A Personal Relationship With God" is my account of how one can truly be successful in life by having a certain state of consciousness. In the King James Version of the Bible. Isaiah 26: 3 states, "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because be trusteth in thee." The mind is the standard of the man and woman. God works through our mind. He blessed us with this wonderful gift called the mind. Maintaining a close mental and spiritual consciousness with God is the key to an individual holding on to a positive attitude and will to be true and do the right thing. Having this relationship with God will ensure a couple in acquiring and maintaining a prosperous and happy marriage. The scripture Genesis 11: 6 brings into full fruition my book, "Having A Personal Relationship with God."

Book Kabbalah Science and the Meaning of Life

Download or read book Kabbalah Science and the Meaning of Life written by Michael Laitman and published by Laitman Kabbalah Publishers. This book was released on 2006-01-01 with total page 224 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Science explains the mechanisms that sustain life; Kabbalah explains why life exists. In Kabbalah, Science and the Meaning of Life, Rav Michael Laitman, PhD, a kabbalist and a scientist, combines science and spirituality in a captivating dialogue that reveals lifes meaning. For thousands of years kabbalists have been writing that the world is made of a single entity divided into separate beings. Today the cutting edge science of quantum physics states a very similar idea: that at the most fundamental level of matter, we are all literally one. Science proves that reality is affected by the observer who examines it. And so does Kabbalah. But Kabbalah says more: even the Creator of reality is found within the observer. In other words, God is inside of us, he doesnt exist anywhere else. When we pass away so does he. These earthshaking concepts and more are eloquently introduced so that even readers uneducated in Kabbalah or science will easily understand them. Therefore, if youre just a little curious about why you are here, what life means, and what you can do to enjoy it more, this is your book.

By combining the two English words, ‘work’ and ‘worship’, I hope to challenge people to integrate their faith and work. Work does not just refer to what is done in paid employment. I believe God sees work as any purposeful activity requiring focus and effort. It could be housework, schoolwork, caring for children or parents, study, paid work, voluntary work, etc.” — Kara Martin In her book, Kara explores the biblical view of work, provides six spiritual disciplines to integrate faith and work, shares practical wisdom on how to make a difference in the workplace, and offers ideas to help churches better equip their congregations to live out their faith at work.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For some atheists, it's enough to simply not believe in God. Some people believe, but you don't. And that's OK.Other atheists, however, find themselves constantly being asked to justify why they don't believe in God, to explain how they can possibly have morals without believing in God, to respond to various arguments that supposedly prove the existence of God, to acknowledge that America was founded as a "Christian" nation, etc. And if you don't have a background in philosophy, formal logic, comparative religions, ancient history, and various scientific fields, it can be a bit daunting to attempt to respond to questions and assertions like these.Well, fear not! "Common Sense Atheism" is a collection of original essays that address these issues and many others in clear and easy to understand language, with just a dollop of humor to make it all go down smoothly. These essays will help you understand and explain to others why a lack of belief in God really is the only rational choice. After all, you shouldn't need a PhD to defend your lack of belief.
