Download or read book Renaldo Joins the Circus written by Al Calienes and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2010-03-20 with total page 26 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Al Calienes was born in Brooklyn New York. His first career choice was that of an artist; he did spot ads and storyboards but longed to create epic storybook adventures for children. One such story is that of a clown named Renaldo. Al had the idea in his mind to actually become the character of his storybook idea. He began his journey in the circus at the age of 26 with the Big Apple Circus. “ The show stopped three blocks from my place in Brooklyn so I didn’t run away to the circus, I walked”. He says. Starting at the bottom rung of the ladder ushering patrons to their seats, he worked his way up and saw the circus from a perspective that many seasoned and multi-generation performers don’t get to experience. After becoming a clown with the one ring wonder and being there for 8 years, Al began teaching his new found skills at the Luna Stage Theatre Company, then went back to performing circus at Sea World in Florida, Circus Sarasota, The Royal Hanneford Circus, The Garden Bros. Circus of Canada and Zippo’s Circus of England. Now after more than 20 years in the circus he still tours around the country and also teaches circus skills with the National Circus Project in New York and is ready to bring his stories to the world.

Book excerpt: They thought they'd conquered him, thought they'd put him out of commission, thought they were rid of him forever. Him, the most diabolical criminal mind the world has ever known. Him, the serial killer who made all those before him look like choirboys. Well, they were wrong. All of them. Far from being done, he'd discovered a challenge nearly as exciting as was his hobby withering the souls of men. Randolph Dorfman couldn't remember a time when he hadn't wanted to be a FBI Agent. Not a badge toting, gun wielding street agent either. He could have signed up for any number of law enforcement possibilities for that. No, he wanted a position which allowed him to study the thoughts and actions of the criminal mind putting him in a position to out think and out maneuver future actions. Never had he considered that such a position would land him in a deadly game of cat and mouse, pitting him thought for thought with possibly thy most diabolical serial killer the world has ever known. But it had, with serious consequences to his marriage, his freedom, his friends, and his very life. If he is to survive, theirs is a contest he can't afford to lose.

What was the identity behind the name and face: a would-be assassin, or just another victim beneath an indifferent California sky? Intrigued by a request from the sniper’s father to conduct a “psychological autopsy” of his child, Alex begins to uncover a strange pattern—it is a trail of blood. In the dead sniper’s past was a dark and vicious plot. And in Alex Delaware’s future is the stuff of grown-up nightmares: the face of real human evil.
