Their grandson, Benjamin C. Alexander (1848-1909), married Nancy Elizabeth Davenport (1857- 1949) in 1872. They had ten children, 1873-1897, all born in Cannon County, Tennessee. Descendants listed lived in Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, and elsewhere.
