Las preguntas que guiaron la presente investigación fueron: ¿cuáles son los métodos utilizados por los profesores para evaluar el rendimiento académico de sus estudiantes?; ¿qué usos hace el profesor de los resultados de la evaluación del aprendizaje?; y ¿cuáles métodos responden al enfoque de evaluación para la formación? El estudio es descriptivo, analítico y contrastativo, puesto que identifica y sistematiza los métodos de evaluación y los confronta con propuestas innovadoras de evaluación para la formación y el aprendizaje. La fundamentación teórica acoge los planteamientos de evaluación de aprendizajes con función formativa de: Sacristán, J., Santos, M., Álvarez, J., Hoffman, J. Los resultados evidencian el uso similar de métodos y que las formas de evaluación de mayor frecuencia son las pruebas orales, escritas, de respuesta cerrada, la participación y asistencia a clases; y los trabajos escritos individuales en los programas de Derecho y Maestría en Educación. La asistencia a clase, los trabajos grupales, exposiciones y cuestionarios de pregunta abierta, son formas usuales en todos los programas universitarios. Por otro lado, los de menos usados son los ensayos, exámenes orales grupales, los trabajos de campo y los informes de visita, considerados tradicionalmente de enfoque para la formación y el aprendizaje.

A lo largo del libro se abordan los siguientes temas principales: • Una aproximación conceptual a la evaluación en el aula y a las dificultades para modificar las prácticas de enseñanza; • Herramientas para analizar los componentes centrales de una actividad de evaluación y los procesos de pensamiento que están involucrados en su resolución; • Sugerencias y ejemplos para transformar las pruebas que utilizamos habitualmente, en situaciones más ricas, motivadoras y desafiantes para los estudiantes, a través de propuestas de evaluación auténtica; • pistas de trabajo para incorporar la evaluación formativa al trabajo cotidiano, analizando las maneras de formular preguntas en clase y los modos de corregir y devolver trabajos y pruebas. Se enfatiza el concepto de "devolución" y se brindan sugerencias para promover de manera efectiva instancias de auto-evaluación y co-evaluación de los estudiantes; • Un análisis de los reglamentos de evaluación vigentes en varios países de la región y del modo en que estos determinan prácticas de calificación cuya consecuencia principal es generar una cultura en la que los estudiantes están más orientados a las calificaciones que al aprendizaje. En este sentido, las nuevas tendencias y teorías sobre evaluación de los aprendizajes, abordan el rol central que esta tiene, como elemento constitutivo fundamental para la mejora de los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje, resignificando importantes interrogantes sobre el contexto y significado de la evaluación, como, por ejemplo, qué evaluar, cuál es su sentido real tanto para los estudiantes como para los docentes, para qué y por qué evaluar, cuándo evaluar, entre otros. Desde esta nueva mirada sobre la evaluación, la Universidad Católica Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo, usat, de Chiclayo, Perú, viene definiendo desde hace varios años su plan de formación docente, identificando para ello las necesidades de capacitación más relevantes, y encontrando la evaluación de los aprendizajes como una de las temáticas más pertinentes y necesarias de formación y actualización profesional de los profesores. En consecuencia, en el año 2019, en alianza con un equipo profesional de la Universidad de La Sabana de Colombia, en el marco del convenio entre las instituciones, fue diseñado un plan de capacitación para los profesores de la usat en evaluación por competencias, acompañado de un proceso de identificación y sistematización de experiencias significativas, orientadas a transformar procesos y prácticas evaluativas de profesores de la universidad. Así las cosas, se postularon catorce profesores quienes lideran ocho experiencias en evaluación, para sistematizar sus proyectos y visibilizar así el conocimiento pedagógico que se ha generado desde su práctica docente. Se llevó a cabo, entonces, un proceso de formación y acompañamiento, durante el año 2019, en la sistematización de experiencias como alternativa investigativa, que derivó en el presente libro.

Book excerpt: Based on twenty case studies of universities worldwide, and on a survey administered to leaders in 101 universities, this open access book shows that, amidst the significant challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, universities found ways to engage with schools to support them in sustaining educational opportunity. In doing so, they generated considerable innovation, which reinforced the integration of the research and outreach functions of the university. The evidence suggests that universities are indeed open systems, in interaction with their environment, able to discover changes that can influence them and to change in response to those changes. They are also able, in the success of their efforts to mitigate the educational impact of the pandemic, to create better futures, as the result of the innovations they can generate. This challenges the view of universities as "ivory towers" being isolated from the surrounding environment and detached from local problems. As they reached out to schools, universities not only generated clear and valuable innovations to sustain educational opportunity and to improve it, this process also contributed to transform internal university processes in ways that enhanced their own ability to deliver on the third mission of outreach

Its demise is due to the «alchemical» destruction of the world's resources, thought of, theologically legitimized and fetishized as «creation». This violence is not recognized. Elites have, instead, begun with a new «military alchemy», treating the whole Planet as weapon of mass destruction. Hence, the «Planetary Movement for Mother Earth».
