Through IT Reform, the Federal Government has made progress in foundational execution areas such as adopting "light technologies" (e.g. cloud computing), shared services (e.g.commodity IT), modular approaches for IT development and acquisition, and improved IT program management. The strategy leverages this progress while focusing on the next key priority area that requires government-wide action: innovating with less to deliver better digital services.
