As the internet capabilities expanded, so did her research. She was able to view and extract records without having to travel from home. She discovered her cousin was also researching their family history and began collaborating with him. He concentrated on the civil war era of the Brownlee branch of the tree, while Susan focused on the wider view of her entire family tree. Family has always been Susan's anchor in life. This book is her attempt to define and illustrate her rich heritage.
