Download or read book Self Coaching 101 written by Brooke Castillo and published by Booksurge Llc. This book was released on 2008-11 with total page 152 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Self coaching is about feeling better. It really is that simple. Everything we do in our lives is because we want to feel better. When we give-it feels good. When we help others-it feels good. When we accomplish something-it feels good. Whenever we feel bad-we are usually seeking a way to feel good. The reason we want to feel good, is because it is our true nature. Alignment with our spirit-our true essence-the God within us feels good. It feels peaceful, joyous, honest, abundant and free. Through coaching ourselves we can feel good much more of the time. By coaching ourselves we find what is not working in our lives. We find that trying to change the external circumstances to change how we feel is impossible. We learn that fighting our emotions or trying to deny them only makes them bigger. We find that our thinking is the most important thing we can pay attention to in order to feel better now. By taking a peek into our own minds we can find the cause of all our suffering. We can see how we block our joy with outdated and untruthful thoughts and beliefs. By just being in this place of awareness we have aligned with our true nature and can observe the patterns of our lives. Hiring a coach can be an amazing experience. Having someone who is already "outside" of your mind give you a different perspective to consider is often the first step in change. But ultimately, it is the process of shifting your own perception with your own awareness that will create non-dependent freedom. This is why I feel so strongly about learning how to apply these simple self coaching tools in your own life and on your own mind. If you are willing to do the work now-it becomes a way of being. You will step into a life that is lived with awareness and consciousness because each time you feel any negative emotion you see it as a signal to coach yourself and realign with the true essence of you. Self coaching 101 teaches you the basics of how to do this. And the basics are enough.

Download or read book Writing Down Your Soul written by Janet Conner and published by Mango Media Inc.. This book was released on 2021-07-13 with total page 203 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “This book is a powerful tool to help you access this deeper realm of consciousness and put it to work enriching your life . . . immediately.” —August Gold, author of The Prayer Chest #1 Bestseller in New Age & Spirituality, Graphology, Parapsychology, Handwriting Analysis, Creativity, and Journaling Janet Conner is a writer, poet, and spiritual field guide, but first and always a deep spiritual soul explorer. Since she discovered how to activate a divine Voice by slipping into the theta brain wave state (border between the conscious and the subconscious) while writing, Janet has dedicated herself to exploring and sharing what it means to live at the vibrant intersection of the visible and the invisible. After hitting rock bottom while escaping domestic abuse, Janet’s inner voice told her to start writing. As she wrote, she gained clarity and strength, and felt an incredible connection to the divine. Today, research scientists are providing peeks into consciousness and how it works. Their findings give clues about what is happening in our bodies, minds, and spirits as we roll pen across paper. Writing Down Your Soul explores this research and instructs how to access the power and beauty of our deepest selves. If you want to engage in a vibrant conversation with the wisdom that dwells just below your conscious awareness, write. Write every day, at approximately the same time, with passion, honesty, and the intention of speaking with and listening to the voice within. “If you think this book is not for you because you are a writer and don’t need another writing book, think again!” —Sherry Richert Belul, author of Say it Now

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "A cross between Carry On, Warrior and Everybody's Got Something, The Other Side of Yet is a powerful memoir about loss, faith, and the power of the human spirit. Starting her professional career as a producer at America's Most Wanted, Michelle Hord was no stranger to tragedy. But when the unimaginable happened in her own family, Michelle's entire life crashed down around her. As she sought out a new blueprint for how to live in this new world, The Book of Job became her anchor, with one verse in particular standing out: "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him" Job 13:15 King James Version (KJV). For Michelle, the concept of that 'yet' became an essential part of her life--one shaped by loss, yet filled with hope. This powerful memoir takes readers on a journey about creating a life of goodness and grace in the face of loss, injustice, or hardship. Michelle isn't interested in prosecuting her marriage, dwelling on what happened to her daughter, or pointing to God as her only salvation. In the pages of The Other Side of Yet, she invites readers to share not just her story, but to draw inspiration from her strength, her will to create goodness, and her defiant faith"--
