Book excerpt: C01 Modern Nation Building: Empty Nation is a, sci-fi, romantic, erotic, political satire, comedy. The story begins two hundred years in the future. In this first book the framework for the entire series is defined. Yanket & Seymour concoct a wild futuristic plan for a new government program, the MSES®, to control the economic fate of the world (nothing new). Note: the appendix for the entire series is in the SM069 Manual available on both Audible.com and Amazon.com websites. C02 Program: Seymour explores for the first time how absolutely wild their plan really is. Yet supplying a sufficient amount of good-time sex to the workforce is deemed essential to the Nations survival. Yanket & Seymour wrangle with the Cunt-gress to support their MSES® scheme regardless of the social and political nightmare it may cause. C03 Family: The two main characters in the Series, Mary & Jane (the Gurls) are breed into existence and introduced to the readers and listeners (available on Audible.com). This book steps through a brief history of the Gurls, from conception, birth and breeding by the Human host families. All the while, they’re being indoctrinated into the USA Inc. political and economic systems by government supplied drugs to maintain a pleasant and sensual, sedated-state in a surrealistic world as Sex-Slaves (Sissies) for profit. C04 HCC: This story has many concepts which are bitter & sweet till you realize you’re reading fiction. The USA Inc. government in the future is portrayed as an imperialistic, monstrous demon shunned by all other nations and the UN. The society in the new America crosses some pretty taboo moral lines supported completely by the new US second constitution with amendments. So performing lewd sex acts and behavior was legitimizing for citizens in and out of public. And what better way to nullify the old morals of the Caligula type society than through religion. The final scene has Jane Gurl, who is a one year old, baptized at the Holy Cockolic Church (HCC) and her mother goes to confession which requires deep penetration penance.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Achieving a sustainable agriculture requires integrating advances in multiples disciplines, covering both fundamental and applied research in a common objective: enhancing crop health for better productions. This first volume of the Series “Sustainability in plant and crop protection” presents a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary compendium about the recent achievements in the use of entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs) as biological control in a global scale. The volume is organized in a first section discussing the last discoveries on the biology and ecology of the EPN, a second section covering the advances on the EPN productions and release, and a third section with multiples case-studies in which the concepts and ideas on the two previous sections are integrated and discussed. An essential tool for researchers and professionals working to advance in the sustainable use of our resources.

Download or read book Biopesticides in Environment and Food Security Issues and Strategies written by Opender Koul and published by Scientific Publishers. This book was released on 2012-06-01 with total page 474 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Drivers behind food security and crop protection issues vis-à-vis the food losses caused by pests include rapid human population increase, climate change, loss of beneficial on-farm biodiversity, reduction in per capita cropped land, water shortages, and pesticide withdrawals. Integrated pest management, therefore, becomes a compulsory strategy in agriculture, which offers a 'toolbox' of complementary crop- and region-specific crop protection solutions to address these rising pressures. IPM aims at more sustainable solutions by using complementary technologies and one of them is the use of biopesticides including genetically modified cropping systems. The aim is to reduce pests below economic thresholds utilizing key 'ecological services', particularly biocontrol systems via semiochemicals, biopesticides, precision pest monitoring tools, and rapid diagnostics. In fact, we are facing twin problems of environment and food security for the expanding population and it is necessary to ensure adequate pesticide-free food. The ecofriendly nature of biopesticide products suggests environment protection and safety for natural enemies and non-target organisms. However, their adoption and use have lagged behind due to certain constraints like variable performance under field situations, lack of quality standards and interest by big industrial houses, and cumbersome regulatory procedures. The present book is an attempt to critically debate over all these issues and suggest a road map for future.

Download or read book Nematodes as Model Organisms written by Itamar Glazer and published by CABI. This book was released on 2022-05-16 with total page 386 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Nematodes are small multicellular organisms that have been used as biological models since the 1960s. For example, Caenorhabditis elegans is a free-living nematode worm, about 1mm in length, that lives in temperate soil environments. It is made up of about 1000 cells, and has a short life cycle of only two weeks. It was the first multicellular organism to have its whole genome sequenced. The book summarizes the importance of nematodes as model organisms in the fields of genetics, developmental biology, neurobiology, pharmacology, nutrition, ecology and parasitology. Of interest to a broad audience across a wide spectrum of disciplines, this book is useful for biologists working on comparative studies to investigate biological processes across organisms; medical scientists and pharmacologists for exploration of drugs and medicine (including the use of genome editing to eliminate diseases); ecologists considering nematodes as indicators for environment changes; and parasitologists for host-parasite interactions. Many other researchers can use this book as a benchmark for the broad implications of nematology research on other aspects of science.
