Accompanied by his animal companions, Pallid, his horse, and Ember, a stag, that had been born during the Bloodlet Moon, he grows from a child to a young man, learning along the way the emotions of anger, fear, love, joy, and humility, all while keeping a secret only he and his parents knew that would surprise all when revealed.
