This young boy would eventually become not only a US Collegiate National Judo Champion, but also a National Hero, as he was Jeremy Glick of United Flight 93, one of the brave men who stormed the cockpit of the plane commandeered by terrorists on 9/11 that crashed in Shanksville, PA. Relying on his mental and physical judo training as instilled by Nagayasu Ogasawaya, Jeremy, like his teacher, did not give up as he bravely fought in attempt to save his fellow passengers and intended targets of the terrorist's plot. This fascinating memoir recounts with accuracy the life of Nagayasu Ogasawara, a bully turned mentor, who touched the lives of countless children, instilling character and discipline, while training their bodies in the sport of judo.
