Download or read book Bible Legends Told in Rhyme written by Sebastien Dubois and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2015-10-22 with total page 54 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Have you been searching for an easy-to-read version of the Bible? Well this collection of Bible stories, all told in rhyme, may well be just what you have been looking for! Far more than a nursery version of simple bedtime stories, these volumes of the Bibles most classic tales are concisely yet explicitly told to make them impossible to forget. They are written using several different rhyming styles, including limericks, which allow for easy memorisation and provide humour where appropriate. Bible Legends Told in Rhyme also has helpful Bible chapter guides for easy reference. This book spares no fact. So when Daniel gets thrown to the lions, somebody is going to pay! And when King Solomon has a dilemma, he threatens to cut a baby in two in order to teach one mother a lessonall nothing more than the Bible states itself. There is a plethora of Bible books for children out there, but there is nothing as stylish and succinct, using engaging rhyming meter, as this. Many rhyming books try but either fail to include the detail or compromise rhyming flow in order to fit in facts. Limericks are especially difficult to write but are used in this volume to great effect. Leaf through and see for yourself.

Download or read book Bible Stories in Rhyme written by Gene Crumbley and published by Victory Graphics & Media. This book was released on 2008-01 with total page 184 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Dr. Gene Crumbley is an 80 year old Doctor of Chiropractic; having retired at age 70 after 40 years of active practice. He was an active Deacon at First Baptist Church Atlanta, until 2002, and taught adult Sunday School classes for many years. He has a God given gift of being able to put words into rhyme. His goal was to put the famous stories of the Bible into rhyme without compromising the integrity of God's word. With some paraphrasing, and a little poetic license, he has managed to do just that. Also included in this book are poems and song lyrics he has written over the years, and Bible verses that apply to some of the poems. He is a Christian, having accepted Jesus as Saviour at the age of 33. He has published a children's book, "A Little Boy ad His Trains"; a true story about his youngest grandson and his different train adventures. Shortly before Christmas 2006 his song, "Santa's Sleigh," was published and aired on a number of radio stations. He is in the process of writing a book about a fictitious little girl and the real birds, butterflies, and other "critters," she has seen in her backyard and other places. He enjoys photography, and most of the pictures in his bird book were taken by him, as were the pictures on the cover and pages of this book. By putting these stories to rhyme, he has made them seem to come to alive. This book was written for adults, but children will also enjoy reading these stories, or having them read by their parents or grandparents. Very exciting!
