It has much in common with Hardy spaces but involves new elements such as hyperbolic geometry, reproducing kernels, and biharmonic Green functions. This book develops background material and provides a self-contained introduction to a broad range of old and new topics in Bergman spaces, including recent advances on interpolation and sampling, contractive zero-divisors, and invariant subspaces. It is accessible to anyone who has studied basic real and complex analysis at the graduate level.

Book Advances in Complex Analysis and Applications

Download or read book Advances in Complex Analysis and Applications written by Francisco Bulnes and published by BoD – Books on Demand. This book was released on 2020-11-04 with total page 172 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The complex analysis, also known as theory of analytic functions or complex variable function theory, is the part of mathematical analysis that investigates the functions of complex numbers, their analyticity, holomorphicity, and integration of these functions on complex domains that can be complex manifolds or submanifolds. Also the extensions of these domains to the complex projective spaces and complex topological groups are study themes. The analytic continuing of complex domains where complex series representations are used and the exploring of singularities whose integration invariants obtain values as zeros of certain polynomials of the complex rings of certain vector bundles are important in the exploring of new function classes in the meromorphic context and also arithmetic context. Also important are established correspondences with complex vector spaces, or even in their real parts, using several techniques of complex geometrical analysis, Nevanlinna methods, and other techniques as the modular forms. All this is just some examples of great abundance of the problems in mathematics research that require the complex analysis application. This book covers some interesting and original research of certain topics of complex analysis. Also included are some applications for inverse and ill posed problems developed in engineering and applied research.

Book Taylor Coefficients and Coefficient Multipliers of Hardy and Bergman Type Spaces

Download or read book Taylor Coefficients and Coefficient Multipliers of Hardy and Bergman Type Spaces written by Miroljub Jevtić and published by Springer. This book was released on 2016-12-24 with total page 327 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book provides a systematic overview of the theory of Taylor coefficients of functions in some classical spaces of analytic functions and especially of the coefficient multipliers between spaces of Hardy type. Offering a comprehensive reference guide to the subject, it is the first of its kind in this area. After several introductory chapters covering the basic material, a large variety of results obtained over the past 80 years, including the most recent ones, are treated in detail. Several chapters end with discussions of practical applications and related topics that graduate students and experts in other subjects may find useful for their own purposes. Thus, a further aim of the book is to communicate to non-specialists some concrete facts that may be of value in their own work. The book can also be used as a textbook or a supplementary reference for an advanced graduate course. It is primarily intended for specialists in complex and functional analysis, graduate students, and experts in other related fields.

  • Release : 2006
  • ISBN : 0821839209
  • Pages : 162 pages

Download or read book Harmonic Analysis written by J. Marshall Ash and published by American Mathematical Soc.. This book was released on 2006 with total page 162 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Starting in the early 1950's, Alberto Calderon, Antoni Zygmund, and their students developed a program in harmonic analysis with far-reaching consequences. The title of these proceedings reflects this broad reach. This book came out of a DePaul University conference honoring Stephen Vagi upon his retirement in 2002. Vagi was a student of Calderon in the 1960's, when Calderon and Zygmund were at their peak. Two authors, Kenig and Gatto, were students of Calderon; one, Muckenhoupt, was a student of Zygmund. Two others studied under Zygmund's student Elias Stein. The remaining authors all have close connections with the Calderon-Zygmund school of analysis. This book should interest specialists in harmonic analysis and those curious to see it applied to partial differential equations and ergodic theory. In the first article, Adam Koranyi summarizes Vagi's work. Four additional articles cover various recent developments in harmonic analysis: Eduardo Gatto studies spaces with doubling and non-doubling measures; Cora Sadosky, product spaces; Benjamin Muckenhoupt, Laguerre expansions; and Roger Jones, singular integrals. Charles Fefferman and Carlos Kenig present applications to partial differential equations and Stephen Wainger gives an application to ergodic theory. The final article records some interesting open questions from a problem session that concluded the conference.

Book Geometric Analysis of the Bergman Kernel and Metric

Download or read book Geometric Analysis of the Bergman Kernel and Metric written by Steven G. Krantz and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-09-20 with total page 300 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This text provides a masterful and systematic treatment of all the basic analytic and geometric aspects of Bergman's classic theory of the kernel and its invariance properties. These include calculation, invariance properties, boundary asymptotics, and asymptotic expansion of the Bergman kernel and metric. Moreover, it presents a unique compendium of results with applications to function theory, geometry, partial differential equations, and interpretations in the language of functional analysis, with emphasis on the several complex variables context. Each chapter includes illustrative examples and a collection of exercises which will be of interest to both graduate students and experienced mathematicians. Graduate students who have taken courses in complex variables and have a basic background in real and functional analysis will find this textbook appealing. Applicable courses for either main or supplementary usage include those in complex variables, several complex variables, complex differential geometry, and partial differential equations. Researchers in complex analysis, harmonic analysis, PDEs, and complex differential geometry will also benefit from the thorough treatment of the many exciting aspects of Bergman's theory.
