Book Believers Foundations Training Manual

Download or read book Believers Foundations Training Manual written by Osmond Owusu and published by Palibrio. This book was released on 2016-09-30 with total page 67 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Believers Foundations Training Manual is a must study book for any newly born again believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. The book is also strongly recommended study for any believer who wants to ensure their foundational roots in the Word of God grows deeper. Many church groups do not have consistent training material for the newly born-again Christian. These are, for the most part, left to feed on scraps they could find here and there. Those who provide any such material seldom address critical and pertinent questions the new babe in Christ may have. The world is more complex, and has unique challenging puzzles for the Christian faith; especially for the new Christian. This manual is designed to support the new Christian in the quest to seek the Lord Jesus from the very pages of the Holy Scriptures. This manual also equips the new believer to also not accept anything at face value, but ask good questions for clarification. This comes from the premise that the Holy Scriptures have the answers. The believer is imbibed with the notion that the answers, that the Lord Jesus has revealed, can be known in the pages of the scriptures through diligent search. For those of us who are older in the faith, you may have some of your long-held beliefs challenged by biblical textual evidence. We all need this learning curve to help us grow. Its a tremendous journey. Come aboard. For those who know it all, this manual is not for you.

Book excerpt: The Foundations delivers transforming lessons for the Christian believer (especially suited for new believers) to build strong "The Foundations" of their Christian faith. The book is divided into 10 easy to follow lessons, each including 10 enlightening discussion questions. They help you clearly understand and establish the vital foundations of the Christian faith to become a true disciple of Jesus Christ. Developed from a pastors perspective, to strengthen new believers into powerful disciples of Jesus, who understand from the very beginning who they are in Christ and how to live victoriously in Him. During his own pastoring and discipling of new believers, Howard was aware of a shortage of material that adequately dealt with this and began writing material to use in his church. This material has now been proven over many years in establishing new Christians, it has been improved and refined over the years to provide this powerfully succinct book you have today. Ideal for: - Churches new Christian classes, One on one discipleship, Individual studies for new Christians Refreshing those older in the faith in their reason for believing. What some of the many Christian leaders around the world have said about "The Foundations."This is the prayer of thousands of servants of God who are in the discipling ministry. We look for a book to place in the hands of a new convert that will tell him, 'What to do now?' Now here is the prayer answered. I hope and trust that the soul winners will use this. We would like to see this book in the Indian languages. Dr. P.G. Vargis Founder/President, Indian Evangelical Team New Delhi, India "The Foundation" by Howard Sands is one of the best concise training tools for new believers I have ever seen. First the teaching is Biblical and supportive of Evangelical-Full Gospel teaching in its teaching on important doctrines, such as repentance, baptism by immersion and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Secondly, the various questions with the correlating Bible verses in the reviews will help the new believer to really understand and experience these important foundational truths. Pastor Dennis Balcombe Senior Pastor, Revival Christian Church Founder and Director, Revival Chinese Ministries International Hong Kong An excellent and useful tool to help new Christians. Rev Dr Ken Chant, Founder, Vision International College Sydney, Australia This easy to read and teach foundation series is a must for local churches and ministries. This foundation series reflects the extensive ministry and missionary experience of Howard and Joy Sands. Apostle Leslie Munsamy Founder/ President, Global Apostolic Centre Chairman, Apostolic Fellowship of South Africa Durban, South Africa This short book tells it 'as it is'. It is hard hitting and easy to read and it is designed to develop a deep hunger for God in the new disciple and an enthusiasm to fulfil the great commission. It is also scripturally sound and uncompromising in its challenge. Howard Barnes (Servant Apostle) Co-founder and Co-director of The Call2Come Truro, UK I think you have produced a very helpful resource here. It is simple yet comprehensive and tackles each basic discipleship area with wisdom yet simplicity. I think the questions are very helpful indeed. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In any building project you will ever come across in life that is designed to last, the foundation is one of the most important aspects. Builders take time to ensure that the right quality of materials, processes and standards are complied with because the effects of negligence in the building of the foundation can be very costly. The quality of foundation a building has is a major determinant of how high it can rise, the size of weight it can carry, its longevity and quality of use it can be put to The same is applicable in the matter of building of the spiritual life foundation of the saints. In Psalm 11:3 the Bible says, ''If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?'' Download or read book Foundations written by Dr. James Ross and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2010-07-10 with total page 305 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: FOUNDATIONS takes an in depth approach to the design and function of ministry and discipleship. We find in the modern Church a great need for discipleship and spiritual training. Many believers, who "know to do good," struggle in their daily spiritual life as they long for an expression of overcoming faith. FOUNDATIONS leads the reader into a meaningful recognition of their place in Christ. He is our righteousness and God's grace and goodness leads every saint into a repentant and firm faith. There are two kinds of "knowledge" spoken of in the Bible, which are information and application. Information is knowledge that "puffs up" (1 Corinthians 8:1), due to the potential it has to lure people into believing that the more information they have about the Bible, the more mature they are. Hosea speaks about the second type of knowledge when he wrote: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." He was expressing our need for the application of God's word that is necessary for the salvation of our souls and the impartation of Christ-likeness every Christ needs. The application of spiritual truth is the key to an overcoming faith and a renewed mind. Because of this, FOUNDATIONS offers a functional approach to Discipleship and spiritual training which develops the believer's ability to stand firm in the faith they profess. With this in mind; Solomon asked God for an understanding heart (i.e., "a hearing heart" - 1 Kings 3:9), because he understood that in order for anyone to be inclined toward wisdom they had to first hear God. FOUNDATIONS is designed to help the believer mature in their faith by expanding their ability to renew their mind while they develop an understanding heart, so they can learn to hear the Holy Spirit in a clarifying way. Every saint must mature in their ability to hear God as they read the Bible and listen to the Holy Spirit, and this is more readily accomplished through the discipleship process and through spiritual growth. FOUNDATIONS is an exegetical study that was compiled over twenty-eight years of pastoral and ministry experience. It is a study of the Scripture that dives deeply into the ways of God as it also expounds on many of the principles, practices, and doctrines found in the Scriptures. FOUNDATIONS is a practical tool for the serious disciple, and an aid for every Church leader.

This book was released on 2016-01-20 with total page 81 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book has been written so that the veil satan has carefully woven over the faces of men would be removed. Believers do not understand what salvation is all about, not to talk of enjoying it. Salvation includes deliverance for spiritual captives in the spirit. One of satan's best instruments against believers is ignorance. Another reason this work was put together is to expose the subtle ways through which the devil has contaminated many lives thereby preventing them from realizing the purpose of God for their lives. This book is a practical guide for anyone with the determination to experience the power in the name of Jesus Christ as the only name given unto man for salvation.

Book excerpt: Many new believers struggle due to a lack of teaching. The Bible states that we as baby Christians should desire the sincere milk of the Word that we might grow by it. Many people get born again and go back into the old lifestyle because they have no root in the Word and their foundation is weak. I would like to see every new believer become established and grounded in the Word so that they have a firm foundation that cannot be moved. Tests and trials come to each of us, and whether we stand or fall depends on the type of foundation our lives are built upon. The more we understand the Word, the stronger our foundation becomes. God desires that we take His written Word and His revealed Word and apply them to our daily lives. This book is intended to inspire new believers to go after God, to get to know Him, and to love the Word. There is no greater joy than knowing the one who came and gave His life that we might live.
