Detailed procedures are not provided in this document as they are covered in the various operating manuals. Alert level charts (Section 4) provide situational responsibilities for key operating units. This document has been prepared in three sections. The first provides an explanation of the standard response to emergencies and identifies the notification system and overall chain of command. A brief description of various stages of alert has been included. The second section provides color coded Alert Level charts for specific situational emergencies. It outlines response actions for key operating units in the Beaufort Operation. The third section is composed of appendices that provide background information necessary to understand the response process. The general approach that will be taken in responding to emergencies is to rely on BeauDril's northern-based personnel to provide the immediate response; and follow-up with assistance from the south should it be necessary.
