Concluding comments are presented in Section 7. This report presents the views of Australian teachers about the current state of teacher evaluation and development, and argues that extensive change is required. This will be the first in a series of Grattan Institute reports on these issues. Future reports will include proposals for a new system of teacher evaluation and development.
