Este libro en sus seis capítulos propone una conceptualización de lo que sería la humanización en salud y muestra diversas actividades profesionales sistematizadas, realizadas por psicólogos expertos que han tenido como objetivo la humanización de la atención en salud que brindan unidades de instituciones hospitalarias de la ciudad de Cali, Colombia. Los capítulos de este libro van a mostrar al lector no sólo algunas estrategias de intervención efectivas que pueden ayudar a las personas a disminuir los efectos psicológicos negativos que genera la estancia en las unidades de atención hospitalaria como trabajador, familiar o paciente y que podrían ser replicadas en diferentes instituciones hospitalarias.
