The Greek term denotes an unveiling or uncovering—thus, a revelation." "Here is the key to understanding the book. Jesus alone can unlock the meaning of its symbols, visions and descriptions...Christ reveals its meaning. He unlocks its seals. But how does He do it?" "Most of Revelation—about two thirds of its content—is devoted to the seventh seal. The contents of the first six seals are found in chapter 6 alone." "How will the two witnesses and their message be received?" "The book of Revelation reveals, from more than one perspective, the emergence of this vast end-time empire governed from a great city God labels “Babylon the great”, the reference here being to Rome." Book excerpt: The urge to become a beacon of hope for those terrified by the present times has encouraged the author to share the secret research that so many people have spoken about but which has been restricted to famous but never fully understood occult texts. The lessons of Yogananda, Ramacharaka and Gurdjieff are accessible to whoever has a true thirst for knowledge. The text is written in a poetic language that follows the historical tradition of Italian poetry. The Prophecy of the Fourth anticipates and clarifies the spread of Satanism and offers a clear answer to all those waiting for words of hope, through myths, parables and stories of the time of Revelation. The book is illustrated in black and white.

Book Revelation to John S Apocalypse Unveiled and Revealed

Download or read book Revelation to John S Apocalypse Unveiled and Revealed written by Jim Taylor and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2017-02-07 with total page 228 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There are many people, even Christians, who will not read John’s revelation letter for two reasons. First, they don’t believe that it can be understood. Second, they are terrified of even thinking about reading of the deadly judgments of God that John’s revelation letter portrays—that is, the appalling plagues, famines, wars, and natural disasters that John’s letter discloses as having been pronounced against this present evil world, and they don’t want to be any part of that, nor do they even want to be reminded of those dreadful things that they think are going to happen. Such is so sad, so very sad! One of the purposes of this book is to alleviate that fear completely, and to replace it by making the reading of John’s revelation letter a time of comfort and encouragement. That shall all be accomplished by illustrating how the deadly forces of destruction that John described in his revelation letter are not decreed against the Christians—they will never fall upon God’s church—but rather, they are in fact, the very powers of God that protect his church, shelter his children, and defend the Christian faith. All of that can be established by comparing the spiritual war that John witnessed in heaven with the carnal war that was fought between the Roman Empire and the church. That comparison is not difficult to establish, because both of those wars were actually the one and the same war. Once that correlation has been confirmed, Revelation becomes a letter of comfort and security, and a letter that replaces fear with hope. Another reason that even Christians will not read John’s revelation letter is because they do not think that it can be understood because it is so complicated, but God does not put books in his Bible that cannot be understood. John’s revelation letter can be understood, and that is the other purpose of this book, to make it understandable.

  • Pages : 1259 pages

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This work, originally published in 1766, unfolds the spiritual meaning of the Book of Revelation. It shows that by the "Seven Churches in Asia," to whom this prophecy is addressed, are meant the different classes of Christians of the present day; that the Last Judgment is not an event that is to occur at some future time in the natural world, but one that has already taken place in the world of spirits, and that " the New Jerusalem coming down like a bride out of heaven," symbolizes a new dispensation of truth now descending into the minds of men. Incidentally it explains numerous passages from other parts of the Word. Instructive narratives of things seen in the spiritual world are also interspersed between the chapters.

Download or read book Apocalypse written by Jacques Ellul and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2020-05-05 with total page 305 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “There has never been a book provoking more delirium, foolishness and irrational movements, without any relationship to Jesus Christ [than the Book of Revelation].” —Jacques Ellul, Introduction Known for his trenchant critique of modernity and of those Christians who celebrate their captivity to it, Ellul here cuts to the heart of the theological intention of the Book of Revelation, and thereby reveals the liberating gospel in all its offensiveness. Neither an exhaustive commentary nor a work of historical-exegetical analysis, Apocalypse is a provocative, independent interpretation. Ellul seeks to rescue Revelation from the reassuring and orthodox banality to which commentators often reduce it. The goal is to perceive the totality of the book in its movement and structure. “Architecture in movement” is the key to understanding Revelation’s puzzling but simple message. This edition also comes with a new foreword by Jacob Marques Rollison who provides an essential aid for guiding readers through Ellul’s thorough engagement with Revelation.
