Ces anomalies peuvent être isolée ou, être associée à des signes extra-oraux et faire partir d'un syndrome. Au cours de sa carrière, le chirurgien-dentiste sera amené à rencontrer une de ces anomalies et être à éventuellement l'origine d'une découverte d'une maladie génétique. Le travail de cette thèse est de lister les anomalies intra-buccales (dents, muqueuses) et extra-buccales (face et corps) visibles, les plus fréquemment rencontrées, mais aussi de lui lister les outils d'aide au diagnostic existants (Orphanet, Phenodent) afin d'aider le chirurgien-dentiste à identifier une pathologie isolée, d'un éventuel syndrome. L'orientation et la prise en charge de ces patients atteints de maladie génétique peut être compliqué. Le chirurgien-dentiste pourra orienter son patient vers un CCMR ou chez le médecin référent afin que la maladie soit diagnostiquée (par un généticien). La prise en charge thérapeutique pourra se faire par le chirurgien-dentiste traitant, un CCMR ou un autre chirurgien-dentiste plus spécialisé dans les maladies génétiques.

Articles are reviewed which deal with the importance of the adult role in the mourning process of the child. For example, decisions such as whether a child should attend a funeral or return to school are examined.
