The administrative office force, during the early part of the past year, consisted, in addition, of the same number of employes as in the preceding year; but during the year considerable reduction has been made, and the force now comprises a book-keeper, an assistant book-keeper, an assistant in auditing, a paymaster, one general clerk, four stenographers, a telephone operator, one messenger, and a janitor with two assistants, one of whom acts as watchman. It has been determined in the coming year to place the auditing department under the general supervision of the secretary, the present auditor acting as purchasing agent.
