Book excerpt: “HEAVEN is such a busy place,” said Thaddeus as he eagerly watches larger angels going about their service to GOD. Thaddeus is always dreaming of the day it will finally be his turn. “Oh, I long to serve GOD so badly that my wings flutter in His presence.” “Do you feel it also, Celeste?” They both giggled as they wistfully lounged on the fluffiest cloud just this side of Heaven. Thaddeus is among the very smallest of GOD’s heavenly host with not much to do except watch and wait. Finally the big day comes. Thaddeus along with the other little angels are called before GOD and given their highly anticipated duty. Gabriel speaks, and off he goes down, down, down to earth to be a guardian angel. While protecting and keeping watch, Thaddeus sees heartache, joy, and laughter and learns to love like never before. That’s when he realizes that GOD has a bigger purpose for him. He rushes back to Heaven because he must speak to GOD immediately. Will God understand? More importantly, will GOD allow him to do the most special duty of all?

Book excerpt: The remarkable truth about angels, the agents of Heaven, unveiled through Scripture—from the New York Times best-selling author of Everything You Need “Outstanding! As one would expect from David Jeremiah, this book reflects a theologian’s concern, a pastor’s heart, and a Biblicist’s accuracy.”—Dr. Bruce Wilkinson People have long been fascinated by stories of angel sightings, yet many contemporary beliefs about angels are based on misconception and myth rather than solid, biblical truth. As he’s done so brilliantly for decades, respected Bible teacher Dr. David Jeremiah of Turning Point Ministries uses Scripture to unveil the remarkable truth about these agents of heaven and their role in our world and our lives. What are angels? What is their role in God’s plan? Are they present? Do they appear? Do they give us personal insight about our work and our worship? In this broad and thorough survey of Scripture, Dr. Jeremiah clearly and simply separates fact from fiction as it relates to angels. His enlightening findings are supported with illustrations and insights from prominent teachers, such as Billy Graham, Corrie ten Boom, C. S. Lewis, and more. Dr. Jeremiah’s down-to-earth style guides readers around the hype about angels and directly into everything you need to know about the “substance of things unseen!”

Book Proof of Angels

Download or read book Proof of Angels written by Ptolemy Tompkins and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2016-02-11 with total page 208 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In March 2015, millions worldwide were captivated by news reports of the dramatic rescue of an 18-month old girl, Lily Groesbeck, who'd somehow survived fourteen hours in an overturned car, submerged in an icy-cold Utah river, after her mother apparently lost control of the vehicle. Police officers arrived at the scene and heard a woman's voice spurring them on: 'Please hurry, there isn't much time.' Yet, once the two victims were recovered, it was clear the voice could not have come from Lily's mother: she'd been killed on impact. How to explain this modern-day miracle? Ptolemy Tompkins, New York Times bestselling collaborator, with the help of responding officer, Tyler Beddoes will do just that. PROOF OF ANGELS will be the first mainstream trade book to effectively address a topic that has captivated individuals across cultures, age groups and religious beliefs for centuries. This deeply engaging, hard-hitting book is poised to do for angels what PROOF OF HEAVEN, the internationalbestseller by Eben Alexander on which Ptolemy Tompkins collaborated, did for Near Death Experiences. Tyler Beddoes' compelling story launches a sweeping inquiry into the evidence supporting the existence of spiritual beings. Weaving real-life stories into a rich narrative exploring the history, nature and significance of angels in our lives, this book will appeal to the enormous audience who have bought books such as PROOF OF HEAVEN. PROOF OF ANGELS is poised to join the ranks of major bestselling inspirationaltitles by offering readers not only a highly entertaining look into a universally fascinating topic but by also delivering afresh, well-constructed and deeply reassuring message: we are not alone.

Book Do Angels Smooch

    Book Details:
  • Author : Professor Edward Kapambwe
  • Publisher : AuthorHouse
  • Release : 2021-06-01
  • ISBN : 1665525959
  • Pages : 168 pages

Download or read book Do Angels Smooch written by Professor Edward Kapambwe and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2021-06-01 with total page 168 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Do Angels Smooch? Do angels smooch? If not, why so much obsession in lyrics, movies and books about angels and kissing? Are there any more surprises that Edward Kapambwe unveils in his book? Well, there is more. For example, Kapambwe takes us into an in-depth angelic journey in order to understand the extent of angelic involvement in human affairs than ever before. He brings out novel elements that have never been unveiled previously. For example, he recounts how angels visit our stores. They buy the stuff they need before meeting people. Haven’t you noticed that no angel has ever appeared nude or with wings in real life. They come already dressed just like us; and that is why we have been unable to identify them. We are surrounded by angels both good and evil. Evil angels no longer transform themselves into humans. Only good angels still do. Since there are no shops in heaven, where do they get the stuff they wear? Besides that, what happens to these apparels after being used? The author asserts that angels donate them to Thrift Stores such as, Goodwill, the Salvation Army and others. Donating to Thrift Stores is an ingenious way to make them accessible to both the rich and the poor. Have you wondered why they do that? It is a deliberate move they take so that ordinary people could buy things worn by angels. That begs another question, why do they do that? The answer is amazing. They do that on purpose because they know that to wear stuff worn by holy angels comes with tremendous blessings. This book explains that point persuasively. In addition, the author contends that these angels are highly disciplined entities such that they never steal anything from banks, stores or homes of rich people even though they able to do so without being seen. Angels are invisible (spirits) entities. However, they have the ability to transform themselves into regular human beings. The author throws in another insight. He argues and states that helping strangers gives a person the best chance to be visited by an angel. The author then explains to us the probabilities of being smooched by an angel. Do angels smooch? That question points us in the direction of social theology than philosophy. It is not a new question but the framing might be. Many theologians have debated extensively the narrative found in Genesis 6 where angels came on earth and married daughters of men. With his masterful insight and knowledge of theology and philosophy, the author gives a different angle of the workings of angels among us. It’s not a book to miss. If there is one book you need to read in your lifetime, Do Angels Smooch should be on top of your list.
