With this object, I accordingly sent them, through the various Missionary Societies of Great Britain, the United States and the Netherlands, to nearly all their Missionary stations throughout the world, directed to one or more of the principal Mission aries, in each place, as the persons most likely to feel an interest in a kindred cause and this re sult will be produced, I expect, every where, by the work; so that I trust it may prove in very deed the Herald and the Apostle of the Deaf and Dumb, throughout the four quarters of the globe.
