Book ANCIENT EGYPT JERUSALEM AND THE STARS ARCHAEOASTRONOMICAL EVIDENCE OF A SECRET SACRED ASTRONOMY

Download or read book ANCIENT EGYPT JERUSALEM AND THE STARS ARCHAEOASTRONOMICAL EVIDENCE OF A SECRET SACRED ASTRONOMY written by GIACOMO ALBANO and published by WWW.ASTROLOGIAPREVISIONALE.NET. This book was released on 2023-02-25 with total page 121 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Examining the astronomical alignments of the main Egyptian monuments, the author shows that almost none of them is oriented to the rise or set of Sirius or Orion at the time of construction. How is it possible? The reader will discover that in reality all are oriented in some way to the rising points of the stars of Orion or Sirius when they were in the extreme phases of their cycle. Since there is not only one of the most important Egyptian monuments that escapes this rule of orientation, it is evident that it was the true "secret" technique behind these choices. Being a specialist in stellar astrology, in the last part of the book the author shows how these "stellar mechanisms" have worked well beyond the field of Archaeoastronomy. He illustrates the most important encadrement by declination - active for thousands of years and still active - involving some of the brightest stars in the firmament. We will see how and why Giza and Jerusalem been the places where it has most strongly manifested the greatest effects in the field of sacred and religions, albeit in different ways and for different reasons. The truth is that the Sacred Astronomy practiced by the Egyptians is completely unknown to contemporary scholars. Moreover it was not a simple belief or superstition of that people. It is the Supreme Science that describes how the cosmos really works, and not only for the events of sacred history. The Egyptian priests and initiates probably derived this knowledge from a tradition dating back to the dawn of time. Since these stellar configurations regulate not only the most important events of sacred and prophane history, but also the places the events that occur, their knowledge may open new scenarios for human knowledge, far superior and far more "radical" of the much acclaimed scientific discoveries that are not able to identify the primary and occult causes of events, nor to reveal the Mystery that surrounds our existence.

The content is the result of decades of original research and translation, combined with an in-depth study of historical astronomy, to reveal important aspects of ancient thought and history that have been an enigma for millennia. The simple truth is no one has ever identified the star constellations in the tomb of Seti I. Likewise, a meaningful commentary on the square zodiac images on the ceiling of the temple of Hathor at Denderah has not been available until now. In addition, the truth behind the misunderstood legend of the death of Osiris is revealed. Finally, there is a comprehensive translation of the inscribed text of the Inventory Stela found at Giza in 1858 by Mariette. These discoveries and more are revealed in The Secrets in the Stars of Ancient Egypt . Those secrets, and the historical breakthroughs gained through their understanding, are profound and important. Here is a collection of information that focuses on correcting misconceptions about Ancient Egypt, and it sets the record straight with proof and explanation. Book Mysteries and Discoveries of Archaeoastronomy

Download or read book Mysteries and Discoveries of Archaeoastronomy written by Giulio Magli and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2009-04-09 with total page 476 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book is divided into two parts. In the first, the reader is taken on an ideal ‘world tour’ of many wonderful and enigmatic places in almost every continent, in search of traces of astronomical knowledge and lore of the sky. In the second part, Giulio Magli uses the elements presented in the tour to show that the fundamental idea which led to the construction of the astronomically-related giant monuments was the foundation of power, a foundation which was exploited by ‘replicating’ the sky. A possible interpretive model then emerges that is founded on the relationship the ancients had with “nature”, in the sense of everything that surrounded them, the cosmos. The numerous monumental astronomically aligned structures of the past then become interpretable as acts of will, expressions of power on the part of those who held it; the will to replicate the heavenly plane here on earth and to build sacred landscapes. Finally, having formulated his hypothesis, Professor Magli returns to visit one specific place in detail, searching for proof. This in-depth examination studies the most compelling, the most intensively studied, the most famous and, until recently, the most misunderstood sacred landscape on the planet - Giza, in Egypt. The archaeoastronomical analysis of the orientation of the Giza pyramids leads to the hypothesis that the pyramids of Cheops and Chephren belong to the same construction project.

Book Ancient Egyptian Sky Lore

Download or read book Ancient Egyptian Sky Lore written by Joanne Conman and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2013 with total page 254 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book presents an illuminating in-depth investigation which demonstrates that the deep-rooted, fervently defended belief in ancient Egyptian astronomy is false, that it is a myth disseminated by scholars who have failed to make sense of the evidence in the archaeological record. The author's meticulous detective work has led to a breakthrough that reveals the reality of the sky for the ancient Egyptians. Beginning where Egyptology first went wrong, with the Greco-Roman-era temple zodiacs and the Enlightenment-era scholars, the book provides a comprehensive review of the material that has been offered as support for the identifications of Orion and the Big Dipper for the last two centuries, convincingly demonstrating how it fails. The author reveals artistic and textual evidence that challenges the prevailing dogma and uncovers the roots of astrology in ancient Egyptian religion.

Book Land of the Fallen Star Gods

Download or read book Land of the Fallen Star Gods written by J. S. Gordon and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2013-08-11 with total page 311 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A radical reinterpretation of Egypt’s ancient origins and its esoteric philosophy • Explains how the “spontaneous” appearance of Egyptian civilization 5,000 years ago represents the remnants of an ancient worldwide advanced culture • Explores astrophysical, geophysical, and anthropological evidence of forgotten civilizations beneath the Mediterranean and along the coast of northwestern Africa • Examines the mystical traditions and initiatory rituals of the ancient Egyptians and their sophisticated understanding of precession, human evolution, and divine purpose Radically reinterpreting the time line of prehistory, J. S. Gordon shows that Egyptian civilization is 50,000 years older than acknowledged by Egyptology. He explores astrophysical, cosmological, geophysical, linguistic, and anthropological evidence to reveal forgotten civilizations hidden beneath the Mediterranean and along the coast of northwestern Africa. He explains how the “spontaneous” full-fledged appearance of Egyptian and Sumerian civilizations 5,000 years ago represents not the birth of civilization but the remnants of an immensely ancient and sophisticated worldwide culture ranging from Tibet and China to Atlantis and the vastly larger continent of which it once was part. Examining the mystical traditions and initiatory rituals of the ancient Egyptians, Gordon shows that they were not a culture obsessed with death and tombs but one structured around cosmic knowledge, with an astronomical competence that modern science has yet to attain. He reveals their sophisticated understanding of the precession of the equinoxes and its inextricable connection to human evolution and divine purpose--an understanding that could only have arisen from many millennia of high-level observation. Illustrating in detail the sacred geometry of the Great Pyramid and the Giza site, Gordon explains how the coherence of Egyptian mystico-scientific concepts and their art, architecture, and engineering reveals a mission to achieve a “reflection of Heaven on Earth” through the careful location, orientation, and stellar alignment of their temples. He shows the Egyptian Mystery School and its scientific knowledge and universal spiritual philosophy to be a legacy left to the ancient Egyptians by the “fallen star gods,” divine celestial beings who came to Earth long ago and founded the original now forgotten culture--and who will return again with the turning of the Great Year.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A pioneer in the fields of astrophysics and astro-archeology, J. Norman Lockyer believed that ancient Egyptian monuments were constructed "in strict relation to the stars." In this celebrated study, he explores the relationship between astronomy and architecture in the age of the pharaohs. Lockyer addresses one of the many points already extensively investigated by Egyptologists: the chronology of the kings of Egypt. All experts are in accord regarding the identity of the first monarch, but they cannot agree upon the dates of his reign within a thousand years. The author contends that by applying a knowledge of astronomy to the actual site orientation of the region's pyramids and temples, accurate dating can be achieved. In order to accomplish this, Lockyer had to determine the level of the ancient Egyptian ideas of astronomy. Some of his inferences have been invalidated by subsequent scholarship, but many of his other conclusions stand firm and continue to provide sensational leads into contemporary understanding of archaic astronomy.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Some years ago it was my privilege to enjoy the acquaintance of Miss Frances Rolleston, of Keswick, and to carry on a correspondence with her with respect to her work, Mazzaroth: or, the Constellations. She was the first to create an interest in this important subject. Since then Dr. Seiss, of Philadelphia, has endeavoured to popularize her work on the other side of the Atlantic; and brief references have been made to the subject in such books as Moses and Geology, by Dr. Kinns, and inPrimeval Man; but it was felt, for many reasons, that it was desirable to make another effort to set forth, in a more complete form, the witness of the stars to prophetic truth, so necessary in these last days. To the late Miss Rolleston, however, belongs the honour of collecting a mass of information bearing on this subject; but, published as it was, chiefly in the form of notes, unarranged and unindexed, it was suited only for, but was most valuable to, the student. She it was who performed the drudgery of collecting the facts presented by Albumazer, the Arab astronomer to the Caliphs of Grenada, 850 a.d.; and the Tables drawn up by Ulugh Beigh, the Tartar prince and astronomer, about 1650 a.d., who gives the Arabian Astronomy as it had come down from the earliest times. Modern astronomers have preserved, and still have in common use, the ancient names of over a hundred of the principal stars which have been handed down; but now these names are used merely as a convenience, and without any reference to their significance. This work is an attempt to popularize this ancient information, and to use it in the interests of truth. For the ancient astronomical facts and the names, with their signification, I am, from the very nature of the case, indebted, of course, to all who have preserved, collected, and handed them down; but for their interpretation I am alone responsible. It is for the readers to judge how far my conclusions are borne out by the evidence; and how far the foundation of our hopes of coming glory are strengthened by the prophecies which have been written in the stars of heaven, as well as in the Scriptures of truth.

Book Esoteric Egypt

Download or read book Esoteric Egypt written by J. S. Gordon and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2015-01-30 with total page 439 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A study of the 100,000-year-old spiritual science of ancient Egypt • Examines the metaphysical structure of our universe as seen by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Celts, showing that each is based on the same central concepts from time immemorial • Reveals that the ancient Egyptians believed in reincarnation and a spiritual evolutionary process • Explains the connections between the movements of Orion and Sirius and the story of Osiris and Isis, the importance of the Pleiades and circumpolar stars to the Egyptians, and the fundamental unity of the Egyptian pantheon • Investigates the people who colonized greater Egypt 100,000 years ago, descendants of the Atlanteans In Esoteric Egypt, J. S. Gordon reveals how the sacred science and wisdom tradition of ancient Egypt--the Land of Khem--stems from an advanced prehistoric worldwide civilization. Examining the metaphysical structure of our universe as seen by the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Celts, he shows that each tradition is merely a variation on the central concepts of the precession of the equinoxes and the obliquity of the ecliptic pole. He explores the connections between the cyclical movements of Orion and Sirius and the story of Osiris and Isis, the importance of the Pleiades and the circumpolar stars, and the ancient tradition of man as a divine being “born from the substance of the stars.” He investigates the people who colonized greater Egypt 100,000 years ago, the progenitors of ancient Egyptian civilization descended from the 4th- and 5th-Root Race Atlanteans. Gordon explores the magical and esoteric meanings behind Egyptian sacred ritual and temple art, drawing parallels to the Mystery School process of initiation. Explaining the fundamental unity of the Egyptian pantheon and the structure of the after-death state, he shows that the Egyptians clearly believed in reincarnation and a spiritual evolutionary process. Revealing the ancient sacred science of the Land of Khem, teachings passed down from the earliest times, he examines the psychospiritual nature of the human being and the function of our spiritual identity and our souls.
